I don’t think anyone has ever gotten in trouble for downloading a rom.
The websites that host the roms get in trouble and even those are only a select few.

theres a /rom subreddit that has an amazing library of every rom you could ever so for.

 

I really don't like my Steam Deck, but there is one game I want to emulate so maybe that will change my mind

 

Steam deck is the coolest thing I have ever bought in my geek gaming lifetime

I was also considering getting an OLED switch to replace my launch version, but have been leaning steam deck

 

Are both mega man legends games on there

 

I don’t own a gaming pc so this acts as it and with a 30 dollar dock from amazon and my work monitor i can play anything not compatible with steam deck and it is an absolute emulation power house.

Ahhh, I haven't gotten a dock for mine yet

 

Dude the dock really brought it to the next level. So any games that aren’t compatible with the deck, you can just plug a mouse and keyboard into the dock and use the deck as a pc on a monitor.

i got a cheap one on amazon and it works great.

 

What size steam deck did you get. Any benefit to get the biggest storage?

 

I got the mid size and I bought my own non glare screen (which is only included in the 512 gb model).

i’d say get the 256. You can also add storage via micro sd so the 64gb ain’t a bad deal either.

Welp, just discovered another reason the steam deck rules. There is a separate emulator called 'Primehack' that will play the metroid prime games but with modern controls like dual stick controls . I got the Wii trilogy added and it worked right away. What a fucking great deal.

Real talk though… Why is the series called Super Mario Bros? If there are two brothers, you don’t refer to them both as one brother’s first name. That’s disrespectful to Luigi.

I'm kinda between a ps4, ps5, or steam deck. I reeaaallly want to play spiderman, but I can't decide if that's enough to make me buy an entire console. Hmm.
