The Failed Champion is always way harder than you think it will be.

I got about 80 percent of the way through the White Tower and just couldn't do it. Going to give it another try soon, though.

 

Dang I totally forgot I had Bayo 3 sitting in the mailbox yesterday. Guess I’ll have to wait until I get the kids to bed tonight before firing it up. Anyone else playing it yet?

 

I played it for 30 minutes but I’m too astral chain pilled at this point. Couldn’t get into it sadly.

 

I need to give AC another go. It’s one of the few Platinum games I didn’t devour upon its release. I never finished it, and I can’t even remember why.

 

Maybe start it after bayonetta haha

 

the lil charged up swing w his mace came out WAY quicker than i thought it would and it kept catchin me every time even when i knew what to expect lol

 

Truly wild how inconsistent these cloud games are in terms of performance. Good to know Kingdom Hearts runs well, though.

Beat XC3 tonight and really loved it, great ending. There are some ascension quests I still want to finish and try some of the superbosses, but I’ll probably save those for when I pick up the DLC.

I'm still struggling to finish XC3, I just feel it demands more time than I have right now to focus on it. I don't like having to skip the cut scenes and miss out on story but at the same time they're just too long.

 

I watched the majority of the cutscenes at 1.5x speed on Youtube and just mainlined the game for the last 3 or so chapters. Made things easier.

 

I would love a 1.5x in game for cut scenes. Playing Octopath Traveler now and really liking it, but the cut scenes are so slow

 

I can’t seem to get in to XC3, I loved the first two games but I don’t find the combat system in this one engaging

 

Does anyone know of a way to prevent a pro controller from constantly trying to pair when you push a button, thus draining the battery? I've noticed that after I've use it as a normal Bluetooth controller instead of connecting it to my switch, the controller will just flash green continuously until it dies if I accidentally hit a button on it. Super annoying. There have been so many times I wake up to a dead controller. Pretty crazy that it doesn't just time out..

 

don't beat yourself up over it, I was the same way. XC2 is one of my all time fav games and XC3 was just a hollow thud for me.

 

This makes sense now. I was able to summon personas that were insanely over leveled for free. They were on the list with personas that were around my level and it confused me. I get they want to give bonus content, but it kills the enjoyment of the game.

I wasn’t planning on using them anyway, but this is how I’m learning that summons aren’t like fusions and you don’t have to wait until you’re the same level lol

 

I think if you get a persona by fusing or capturing it, it’s always available to summon after, right?

 

Yup, but can’t create a persona through fusion if the result is a higher level than you’re at currently

 

It won't have Sports Story, so who cares?
