The only reviews for Little Noah at all are user reviews on steam and they are all good reviews! Seems like this one is legit!

 

I was already interested in Little Noah, but now that I know it's made by Cygames, my interest went way up.

Cygames is the company that helped Nintendo make the mobile game Dragalia Lost. They are also responsible for several other popular mobile games, including Shadowverse, Rage Of Bahamut, and Princess Connect Re:Dive.

If they made this, I'm down.

 

I played it for an hour and found it mechanically solid but otherwise super uninteresting. Also kinda hate that you’re using your minions to attack and don’t have an attack of your own per se.

the art is excellent.

I skimmed through a 75 minute gameplay video of Little Noah and it's just definitely not for me :/

 

I impulse bought it on Steam. I have no idea when I'll play it, but it's in my library for when that time comes.

 

As a consumer, I wish every game had a demo. Might not be practical from the business side of things.

 

I got an 8bitdo Pro 2 a few months ago and I gotta say, I prefer it over my Switch Pro Controller, it is fantastic. I've always been a huge fan of the Pro Controller too!

 

I’m still enjoying my play of the mandarin version.

Looks like I’ll play through it again in a few months lol

 

My wife will be all about that Disney game lol

 

I'm sure I remember reading once that demos have been found to reduce game sales almost without exception, hence the reluctance from most developers.

I actually owned Pac-Man World on PS1 as a kid and I remember it being pretty fun. I might check out the remake.

 

Does the joystick layout take some getting used to? I don't have a Playstation console and very much prefer the pro controller's layout, but I've heard so many great things about the 8bitdo controller

 

That's the one complaint I hear, it has never even crossed my mind personally. I've never thought I was at a disadvantage because of the stick layout. Plus the dpad is soooooooo much better if needed.

 

Ooh good point, a better dpad would be huge, the pro controller's is soo bad haha

 

Only comment I'll make so far regarding live a live is the movement is wonky in my opinion. The movement related to how you move the joystick is just off.

Hot damn, this is a whole new game. Beautifully remade from the ground up. The music, the visuals, the VA, it's all done so well. I've played 2/3 of the chapters and while they're kind of sparse, I'm definitely already sold.

I will literally buy anything they make in HD-2D. They could remake Ice Climbers in this style and I'd buy it day one.

 

Pac-Man World was sickkk, can't wait to replay that on my Switch!!!!!

 

Read about how Ms. Pac-Man got erased from the World remake for rights reasons. I guess Bandai Namco has been in a rights dispute with an arcade cabinet manufacturer around that character for the last few years.

Now I understand why SSB never did Ms. Pac-Man as a Echo Fighter even though it was a no brainer
