I'm gonna presume it's indicative of testers who popped the achievement while testing?

Yeah it’s 20% of the people that have actually played it. Could be 1 out 5 for all we know.

I’m still in Pokemon mode after Go Fest, so I decided to finally play Arceus. I hear it’s an ambitious step in a new direction for the series, but incomplete. whatever, I just want Pokémon.

It seemed like the new huge ambitious step for Pokémon when it came out but now it seems like it was just a trial run for Scarlet/Violet. Still a really fun and interesting game though!

Definitely feel like PLA was to get Game Freak slightly comfortable with the open world take in Scarlett/Violet, which seems necessary.

PLA is at least a fun, but repetitive, play. I’d recommend it if you want Pokémon but something fresh.

Going back to the turn based/tactics games conversation, The Banner Saga is a great one that I didn’t see mentioned. I’m pretty sure it’s on Switch.

That's one I haven't played yet. The art style kinda throws me off - which is a dumb gripe for sure - but it's also kept me from trying Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark which is also apparently a good tactical RPG.

I finished my first playthrough of Triangle Strategy a week or so ago. I heard the fun really beings on NG+, and I gotta say that seems true based on the first story fight, the difficulty really ramped up even staying on normal

Nice, what ending did you get?

I bounced of Banner Saga hard, something about the mechanics turned me off, but I started playing it immediately after FE, which is probably a bad idea

Frederica! I felt really bad for the Roselle lol so I had to do that
I want to do the "golden path" or whatever it's called next, then I plan on doing the others. I'll probably split my save file so I don't need to restart in full.

That's what I got my first time too. Definitely a poignant ending.

What I did for additional playthroughs was put it on easy and set battles to fast mode so I could blow through the missions I've already done. When I came to maps/missions I hadn't yet played in previous saves, I changed the difficulty back to normal to give myself some sort of a challenge (because even normal can be tough for this game). I was able to get through 2 additional endings pretty quickly this way.

Also what's useful in NG+ is that all your levels/items/money carries over and you will be able to see what your conviction levels are whenever you want and what affects them, which is helpful when it comes to making decisions or getting characters to join you.

That's a good idea, and yeah I was surprised how hard even the first fight on NG+ normal was, the enemies in this game hit pretty hard and take a couple turns to take down. It's also a different mindset from Tactics/FE that took some adjustment, I was playing with the mentality to never sacrifice units but that ended up being impractical lol there were some battles I ended with just Serenoa and Erador left

Nintendo needs to hurry and announce a Nintendo Direct

I was hoping for a Direct to be announced today for 6/14 (traditionally Nintendo's day in the old E3 times) but now with Microsoft doing their second stream that day I'm wondering if it's going to happen.

Wasting developer resources on an unnecessary sequel to 1-2 Switch instead of doing literally anything else is just about the most Nintendo thing I can think of tbh

Ready to have your mind blown? 1-2 Switch has sold more copies than Three Houses.

That doesn't really surprise me at all. It's a casual game that launched day 1 when the only other major competition was Breath of the Wild and I imagine a lot of people probably bought both of them. Three Houses is a more niche genre and came out two years later.

    It's still disappointing though, no?
