Man I was looking into a Wii U because I've been wanting to play Windwaker for the first time (the remaster just looks so pretty), but they're surprisingly still pretty expensive on eBay and they mostly seem to be the Japanese model. Considering it's their least popular console I thought I could get one for like $80-100 but they seem to be $200+

I guess less popular means less in circulation.. bummer

I think WW will make it to Switch before the Switch's time is up

To be fair the Wii U port is still pretty new, my money is on Twilight Princess, if any.

I like WW and TP a lot. TP I like a bit more.

TP I’d rank my 2nd or 3rd favorite Zelda. I’d rank WW fifth.

I finally tried Skyward Sword and just couldn’t get through the motion controls and the backward-ass switch controls.

I muscled through SS, it was fun but definitely has some major flaws with the motion controls.

The gameplay of SS is frustrating sometimes but the story in the game is top tier

Are they going to just put out a bunch of the trailers up that would’ve been on the cancelled show?

No but they would’ve probably had something for the E3 showcase, no? Maybe nothing major but something

Why do you think it sucks? it's got a very good rating percentage on Steam.

I played it on Gamepass. Not a fan. Super edgelord kind of humor.

it is one of those games where it is hard for me to tell you precisely why it sucks, especially how I am a huge fan of the original Guacamelee.

I guess I don't really like the moment to moment gameplay, it just doesn't feel very satisfying. and I don't like how you have to lock your character in a certain direction so you can attack into a different direction than the one you're moving in (the game only supports a single stick as input), and inventory (as in, character) management is clumsy as fuck. makes Elden Ring look focus group tested.

that said I do like the progression -- you have to play with all sorts of characters to advance, dislike the art and the writing. Just didn't hold my interest past the first 2 or so hours.
