The GameStop at the mall I work at already has like 20 preowned joy con straps and a few charging grips

Has the NES Classic Edition ever get back into stock?

It comes and goes. It has been in stock for a few days in stores all over Europe a few weeks ago, for example. It has not been discontinued if that's what you're getting at.

A few weeks ago I read Nintendo was ramping up production and was wondering if and when that will start hitting more store shelves in the U.S.

Just checked my activity log and I have roughly around 160+ hours of total playtime between Zelda, Isaac and shovel knight

    Crazy.

God Zelda is just incredible, I've played somewhere between 20 and 30 hours so far and I fee like I've hardly scratched the surface on this game. I just completed my first divine beast (the Zora one) and that was so satisfying [\spolier]

I've done that one and the other on the east side of the map. At first I was aimlessly wandering around but now I'm trying to explore every little area I can....until I try the second half lol

If you haven't yet, definitely make sure you visit the tower of each section as early as you can. Being able to see the map in detail helps so much.

Question for Switch owners. Do you have to take it out of your bag at airport security like a laptop? Or can it go through without. Going to be taking it on a plane for the first time next week.

Take it out. When I left San Antonio they instructed to take it out. When I left Orlando, there were no instructions specifically for it so I left in it. Ended up getting pulled to the side while they inspected it

I flew to Chicago and back to Philly and left it in my bag both ways and there was no problem

In about four flights with it, they've never asked me to take it out of my backpack.

I docked my switch for the first time today. Crazy how easy it just slides in and out and just works.

    and a millions screams...

I was in target the other day and heard an old lady on the phone say "NES classic right? They have three, how many should I get? All three? Ok" and then she bought them all

Thanks for the advice. I'll be going through Atlanta so taking it out of my bag sounds like a good idea. I have it in a case anyway so won't be a problem.

I've never been a big video game person (though I own an Xbone mostly for sports games), but I bought a Switch on a whim (mostly for childhood Nintendo/Zelda nostalgia reasons) and I have to say I am absolutely blown away by how much I love it and how obsessed I've become with playing Zelda. I used to clock maybe 2hrs a week max playing my Xbone, with the Switch I'm up around 8-10+. IMO, the portability factor is an absolute game-changer for 'older' gamers who want to grab a quick 20 minutes of play time while commuting or at lunch, or even on the couch or in bed - I've never liked the idea of being tethered to the TV for hours on end so the Switch just opens up so many more options for play. I find I've approached Zelda almost like reading chapters in a book - biting off small pieces at a time to keep the momentum going until I can sit down with it and knock out a good couple of hours' progress. I was worried I'd get sick of the Switch due to the lack of games available, but honestly I reckon Zelda is more than enough at my pace of play to keep me going for another few months, and I'm almost enjoying being able to work through it slowly with no other games distracting my attention.

That's exactly where I'm at as well.

Definitely on its way to become my favorite gaming device.

I think you are exactky the kind of "gamer" that Nintendo is trying to reach to make this thing huge

I'm in almost exactly the same boat. Zelda is so nice because there's nothing that you really need to commit to for hours if you don't want. Just pick it up for an hour or two after work and explore a new area.

Gotta do laundry? Better bring the switch. Gotta wait for a work email on the weekend? Better bring the switch.

Edit: as a comparison, I was given a PS4 last year and bought Xenoverse 2. I've only put like three hours into it until I called it quits. Couldn't stand the thought of sitting directly in front of my tv that long.

Even binding of isaac is fun to play on the go. My SO and I just stay in a cafe and play it.

Same with Shovel Knight. I can only imagine playing games that are actually built for it like mk8. Hoping overcooked fills that gap as well.

I hardly feel like I'm rushing, but I'm at 50 hours with all 4 beasts done. Just trying to get a decent weapon set before I head to the castle.

I think I finished the 4 beasts at 70/80 hours but I was definitely getting distracted a lot.

I capped at 100 hours. Just waiting for the DLC so I can play a second time.
