Halo is 60fps on One X so that was cool at least

 

i didn’t know that, that’s good at least.

 

The One X can do a lot if developers take their time, though I understand why they don’t at this point

 

The one X has a more powerful GPU than the series S, it’s the rest of the architecture that’s woefully outdated.

 

I don’t think it’ll be the right move in the long run but right now I want to skip this gen entirely. The One X still blows me away graphically and as of right now I’m pretty sure Forza 8 is the only thing even close to coming out that I will be sad not to be able to play. Starfield too I guess but I’m not in a huge rush there.

 

I'm 99% sure both of those games will come to One X anyway.

 

This kind of feels like a lost console generation. The pandemic and supply chain issues really messed everything up. It seems like developers are aware of that. Most new games that come out still run fine on my fairly old PC, so I don't have much incentive to invest in a console at the moment.

 

I think they're going to want to stretch this gen out because of that

IGN said it runs terribly on the Switch. I may still get it as a relaxing break from Elden Ring though

 

I'm pumped for Lego star wars. Hope I can beat triangle strategy before it comes out.

 

I still have a lot of nostalgia for the ps2 lego games - do the recent ones have the same charm and feel of play or have they changed a lot since then? Every now and then I get tempted to pick one up for some easy fun.

 

I haven’t played a Rune Factory game, but I just watched the launch trailer and it looks like a current gen Stardew Valley. When I get money, I’m getting Triangle Strategy first though.

 

I'm sure they're all great, but I'm going to give a special recommendation to Lego Marvel Super Heroes. If you haven't played it and have any interest at all in Marvel and/or Lego, you should play it.

 

Dragalia Lost To End Service Later This Year

This is happening, and I'm kind of bummed.

I played Dragalia Lost at one point and it was really fun, but I stopped playing for several reasons. I always had the intent to go back to it someday though.

This is what I dislike about mobile games; once the servers go down, they're gone forever. I wish, if it were possible, that Nintendo would make an offline version of this to preserve the core game.

 

I'm on my second run of Triangle Strategy (going for the best ending) at around 61 hours and man I am all about this game

 

Bluetooth audio is majorly improved. Before this I could barely even hear Hulu

 

A rhythm based top-down shooter. I love the art style and the concept is original, but I’m terrible at both genres.
