Yeah, I guess I could understand that. Feels like a lot of games are coming out from April to June, just might have to wait for that. Honestly, a lot of the time I just think I’ll like a game and then I don’t or I do like it but get bored of it.

 

I have a very cheap pre-order down for Ghostwire Tokyo, hope it slaps.

 

Sometimes I think about getting a PlayStation or an Xbox but I wonder if the same thing will happen anyway

 

I also think games like animal crossing and others have made me realize how some games can go on forever and it made me think. I don’t like how some games are very limited, once you finish the story, you’re just done with the game. And no, I’m not playing a rogue lol I feel like live service/dlc to constantly give you reasons to continue is the best way but it’s often a challenge to make that interesting enough to get a lot of the fans of said game to go back and play it.

I’m curious how the monster hunter expansion will be, that game was surprisingly playable for just over a month.

 

both consoles are great buys and have a wide swath of games like that. I recommend Genshin Impact, it has a little bit of everything and literally does go on and keeps being expanded for a long time. It even has an Animal Crossing like part (something about a Teapot?)

 

Yeah, I definitely feel like I would probably enjoy that game. I like a few similar games.
I just worry about saving up for something like that and then it just sitting there while I play pokemon unite or something lol

The only game I’ve been playing consistently is picross.

 

I recently downloaded the Jeopardy! game on my Switch and have been playing a lot. I just wish the online play on switch was more active.

 

I’ve been felling like that for a while, especially since I don’t have a next gen console. So I just play Apex.

 

There’s no notable next gen exclusives anyway.

also the Xbox version entitles you to the next gen version, I don't know how PlayStation handles this particular case.

Yeah even though there aren’t any real current-gen exclusives aside from like Demon’s Souls Remake and Ratchet & Clank, I’d still rather play on current gen hardware just to have better-performing games. Like yeah you COULD play Halo Infinite or Horizon Forbidden West on last-gen hardware but it’s going to be a way better experience on current gen.

Having pretty much every game be standard 60fps was the biggest selling point for me honestly.

 

yeah 30fps is a hard sell to me these days. The reason I ended up selling my Steam Deck.
