The Kirby demo is super short, it took me 30 minutes for the first three levels. Super fun. It’s more like Mario Galaxy and less like Odyssey. Not as open as I thought, but still good.

 

The abilities in the Kirby demo were fun but I can never get into the games as much as I want to. Definitely not bad though

Someone from ign said the demo cut out a lot of stuff and the actual game has more capabilities and operates differently



But yeah, it isn’t like botw so I don’t care

As someone who just stared playing Hades I’m glad I waited to play it on PS5. Can’t imagine it runs as smooth plus there’s so much going on during certain rooms.

2021: New Pokémon Snap (didn’t play much from Nintendo last year)

 

So is Digimon survive like, a story-driven rogue game?

 

I just read a few articles about it, and it sounds more like Danganronpa meets Fire Emblem.

The battles are pure tactical-RPG style, and the story segments are in visual novel format, with different modes during the story where you can choose how to get out of a particular dilemma or choose who to talk to within a limited time window.

 

Sounds like I’m gonna become a digimon fan

 

I have the Yoshi game and only played the first level. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

 

The limited time window is the only thing I didn’t like about Three Houses, but this does sound good. Triangle Strategy is first for me though lol

 

Yeah, I'm by no means a Digimon fan, but reading the description does make it sound right up my alley.

But if we're being honest. There's one game that's better than both:

 

Damn Vase, that's a deep cut.

 

I remember my parents getting me Digimon World for PS1 way back in the day and my friend and I hated it. I watched the animated series on occasion, but it just never clicked.

This looks like the perfect entry point for me.

 

I remember my friend and I couldn’t figure out what to do in digimon world, like it wasn’t obvious how to do stuff and so it just kind of sat there. The metagreymon promo was cool tho.

 

Deep cut indeed. This game was hard AF and so was the PS1 version.

 

Bring back Azure Dreams, bring back Dark Cloud, bring back Legend of The Mystical Ninja.

I just named three franchises that could be bigger than Pokemon, Tales and Zelda if done well.

 

Also, it's probably just my mindset of having ZERO patience for anything nowadays, but I tried the Triangle Strategy demo and just deleted it after like 8 minutes. Just so much tutorialization and boring dialogue.

 

It gets really good around the 9 minute mark

 

This is the hottest take I've ever heard.

 

They should really remake Digimon dawn/dusk, maybe one of the best ds games I’ve played. There’s just so much to do, it’s too bad they didn’t continue with that style of game.
