Probably a top 3 Switch game for me

 

I’ve still yet to play any Luigi’s Mansion games. I’m going to change that when it’s time for a new game.

 

Luigi's Mansion is fantastic....but that cat really made me put the game down for about a week.

 

I know a lot of people hated the water level and the boss fight, but I weirdly had no issues with it at all. Thought it was fun

 

It's actually my least favorite out of the Luigi's Mansion games, but it's still enjoyable.

This is it. This is the thing that I've been waiting for.

 

Just beat it a few weeks ago. fantastic game. I would say this has the most challenging boss fights of any Nintendo game i've played in a long time. I beat Calamity Ganon in BOTW and Bowser in Odyssey both in 2 or 3 tries, it took me like 15 tries to beat King Boo.

 

My parents bought us two of these for Christmas once. Was a ton of fun, but they popped real quick

 

I would have lasted, if I don’t beat a boss after maybe three or four times I immediately hate a game lol

 

Calamity Ganon was way too easy, I beat him a second time for a victory lap lol

 

I think what made a lot of the boss fights in LM3 including the final boss fight with King Boo so frustrating is that the targeting mechanic to shoot items at enemies is so goddamn clunky and hard to master. When you're in a fight that requires you to use it and use it accurately it's a gigantic pain in the ass.

 

I love challenging boss fights like what this game offers. Not impossibly hard, but difficult enough to force you to get better after a few deaths. Metroid games are in the same vein, I feel like. It drives me nuts how easy boss fights are in Mario platformers and some Zelda games like Link’s Awakening.

 

Is it even a real game if it doesn’t make you want to set your controller on fire?

 

I'll admit i've gotten very close to snapping my switch in two on my knee in handheld mode several times specifically during tough boss fights

 

Is anyone doing the Nintendo Switch Sports beta weekend?

I’m on chapter two of the Triangle Strategy demo. The story really hooks you in. Some stuff is really similar to Three Houses, but it’s more political. The voice acting is good too.

 

The best level in Luigi’s Mansion 3 is easily the castle

 

Based on how much I’ve liked Metroid Dread I decided to pick up Hollow Knight this morning. So far my impression is that this is one of the prettiest games I’ve ever played
