Although, a newer Switch so we don't get dropped frames in every populated village would be nice for BOTW2

I'm just going to keep emulating Switch games. It's a non-issue to me at this point. Do what you want Nintendo.

Just anyone buying a house to me is honestly wild houses are millions of dollars

Even if I had the down payment I'm not clearing millions of dollars over decades

I will say that I give a big side eye to people claiming dropped frames in Legends Arceus while also propping up BOTW as the gold standard for performance. I haven't had any lag or dropped frames walking around or using the camera in Pokemon, unlike BOTW.

I still think BOTW is a much better game and way more artistically pleasing, of course.

  10. The only weird graphic thing I've noticed in Arceus is that the characters don't appear on the screen until you come up to them sometimes. But I don't care.

yeah I'm not really having any noticeable performance issues with Arceus. at least until someone shows me the 60 fps emulated version. the comparison would be lethal

i went back to fidelity mode on ratchet and clank after beating the game at 60 fps and it's a fucking slog. night and day. nintendo's lucky their games are fun

I'm having some weird frame issues/slight sluggish or stuttering while turning the camera when in the main village in Arceus.

There are weird performance things every now and then, but it's nothing huge.

I notice the grass losing framerate during pokemon battles sometimes and it looks weird, but mostly performance is fine, which is what you'd hopefully expect when the game has n64 tier environment textures

All that said though I don't mind the graphics as much as I did when I started. The lighting in Arceus is absolutely on point and helps cover up a lot of the flaws. I just wish there was a longer draw distance so I could spot the fuckin wisps from a bit further off

I got the N64 expansion pack on the Switch and at the time heard technical glitches associated with the games from users and I personally haven’t had a problem. But I am playing Paper Mario for the first time ever and I seem to be stuck or doing something wrong. In Lavalava Island, according to walkthroughs I looked up, I’m suppose to be pushing these blocks over the holes but I can’t do anything. I push on the d-pad and nothing happens to the blocks

    It's the Switch imo

I think you can make an argument for the SNES if you really want to but only because it's been around to get more games.

    It’s the 3DS simply because it’s both a 3DS and a DS

    Best console, objectively, is Switch.

Best Nintendo system, handhled or console, might be 3DS. But it's either Switch or 3DS.

SNES has maybe the best Nintendo first-party lineup though.

Objectively? I don't think that's how this works...
