They finally gave Kirby a gun. We’re going hunting for real this time.

My whole thing with Kirby has always been that the games are too easy to not get boring after a while. I get that Kirby is obviously Nintendo's most kid-friendly series, so that's why, it's just also why I've never really been able to get into any Kirby games.

This one being in 3D has me interested though. Also, this trailer makes the world look way more open than I was expecting from the original reveal. Definitely have my eye on it.

The only Kirby games I’ve ever played are Kirby Air Ride and the game boy game that has you move the game boy in certain directions.

Kirby's Block Ball was legitimately one of my most played Game Boy games when I was a kid but I haven't delved much into Kirby games otherwise. Hoping this is as good as it looks.

Just thinking about this game gives me the most intense nostalgia. Felt like such a mindblowing technological leap as a kid.

Did you try to donate? IIRC I'm pretty sure my second account has donations on my island's museum. The museum placard will say "donated by ____"

Is this one of those things where you can donate only when you have the museum but not when you're just starting and trying to get the museum?

From everything that I've read, once you have 5 different creatures (fish/insects) when you go to talk to Tom, the 'donate creatures' or 'I found a creature' options should automatically appear. That's not happening for me, despite having more than the 5 different kinds. When I looked into it, I've read only the main account/player can donate to Tom.

I don't know about the museum yet, because it hasn't been unlocked yet.

Ha yeah it's not the best design. Maybe just restart the island before you progress much farther and make yourself the mayor, if your son is cool with it. He'll miss out on the big things (like unlocking the museum and placing bridges) but he'll still be able to build out his home, catch bugs/fish, use nook miles, and I think even invite villagers.

I don't really care enough to take it away from him, it's his game, haha. It was just bothering me because I thought I was stupid and then realized I just don't have the same options. He'll figure it out. The problem is, he just doesn't play it as much because he has so many other games. I'm gonna tell him that I can't do shit until he steps his game up tho!

I love all things Kirby. Between that and Triangle Strategy March is looking real good

I'll wait for reviews/reactions for the Kirby game but it does look extremely promising, and I say that as somebody that has never played a game in the series besides the Gamecube one where you ride the stars

As someone who has played the Kirby series ever since owning the original Game Boy game, hearing that so many people here have never even played a main Kirby title, especially Super Star or Super Star Ultra, is really depressing.

I remember we had the first one for the NES and I was obsessed with it. Don't think I played another one until Kirby 64 and it was one of the first games I ever saved up for to buy. Such a good game. Once they put that on the Nintendo Online thing I will probably bite the bullet and sign up.
