Got 20 bucks of eshop money over xmas, looking at Chicory. Too many games to play through, idk why I'm buying another one lol

 

Garden Story looks really cute and addictive. Anyone try it yet?

I think it either needs more dev time or, more likely, they should have waited to do this game until Switch 2

 

I honestly don't care what these games look like anymore as long as it plays decently

Exactly. It's not as if they look that bad, they just don't look great, but to be honest almost none of the mainline games have ever looked good. Pokemon Company is not known for their beautiful art styles and high end graphics.

I'll be pleasantly surprised one day when they release a gorgeous game, but I will never expect it.

Let’s Go looks really good (I think).

 

I’ve always thought Pokémon games looked good for the art style they’re going for. This game looks ugly because it looks like it’s straining to run on outdated hardware. It’s not the art style it’s the performance. It’s an incredibly ambitious game clearly but it looks like they tried for it too soon. If that’s whining then cut me some cheese to go with it!

It's just Pokemon Botw lite. It looks fine.

 

Digimon is 1000% cooler.

 

My Switch is starting to act up. Screen doesn't always turn on when I hit the power button and the Bluetooth doesn't seem to work anymore. Got it in July of 2018 for reference

 

Have they said a release date for Kingdom Hearts on the Switch yet?

 

I downloaded Spelunky 2 and after an hour playing it…it’s not for me.

I don't disagree with Anthony that the game is ugly and might be annoying to play. Preordered.

 

So I downloaded Doki Doki Lit Club…when is there actual gameplay of any sort? The first 20mins has just been me reading dialogue.

Not yet but hopefully when they do they announce physical copies of the games as well or at least digital copies as an alternative to only cloud streaming

 

I though only KH3 was going to be cloud based
