Can anyone recommended a decent screen protector for the OLED switch? I never got one for my OG model but that thing got v scratched from what the dock lol. Just got my OLED today!

I have the version made for the og switch model and have had it on without needing a replacement for years

 

^^ I’ve had the same one on my switch since launch and it has been great

 

Shipped my joy-cons in for repair about a week ago since the drift had gotten so bad I pretty much couldn't play handheld anymore. Got a confirmation of receipt yesterday and a shipping notification today showing they're on their way back (not the same ones I'd imagine).

Very impressed with how quickly that was addressed, especially this time of year.

 

Started Valkyria Chronicles last night since I picked it up for $10 forever ago. Also got FF9 on sale because it's worth it to have the best FF ever

 

Finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Fun game, combat was so good, everything else was eh but still enjoyable

 

Disco Elysium is pretty rough on switch. Brutal load times, awkward character movement AI.

 

I genuinely don't know why anyone would do that to themselves, on any console.

I played it on my MacBook since that's where I do most of my reading ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very late to the party on this one, but I picked up Golf Story finally from the eshop. Figured it was a steal for $6.99. Took me a little bit to figure out controls, but hot damn am I having fun. I had to put it down otherwise I wasn’t going to leave the couch.

 

Yeah. It’s just so much text for that little screen. And a tv is too far away to do all that reading too imo

 

This might be kind of a dumb question because I'm not sure how much of a story the game even has but should I watch some kind of story recap of Metroid before I start Dread? It's my first game in the series

Yup! Very cool game, action rpg but also very puzzle oriented. I want to go back to it, I've gotten more into puzzle games the past couple years since I first played it.

 

My son got Animal Crossing for Xmas last week so tonight I played it for the first time on my profile. I did not realize you could not have more than one island per Switch, so I had to join the one my son already made. He doesn’t know yet (I only ever play after he goes to bed) so I left him some notes on the bulletin board to see if he can realize I’m on his island
