Playing the test fire. I'm terrible at Splatoon

 

I haven't played Splatoon in a while so I'm awful but I do love this game. Maps seem decent, can't get used to map being on X as opposed to just a separate screen.

 

completely forgot that was happening! excited to try this out, I've never played Splatoon.

 

Had a blast with the hour, makes me want to bust out the first game again.

 

I was so terrible with the controls. Especially in handheld mode.

 

I couldn't even get connected to the server lol

 

A couple of times it said there wasn't enough people to fill up the game.

 

That was 3AM my time. I'll definitely try the next one, which is roughly 5 hours and 20 minutes from now.

 

Yeah this was probably the only chance all weekend that I'd have to play it

 

In hindsight I feel ripped off that I paid $50 for Bomberman (when BotW was only $10 more). That should have been a $5 game honestly.

Side note, BotW might be the best game I've ever played. I don't even know where the fuck I'm at right now because it's so big.

 

My buddy bought bomber man and it sounds like it has a decent story mode (levels) to it at least? And multiplayer is always fun isn't it? I just never have time to get together with people and play.

 

Story was fun but there wasn't much to it, and yeah the multiplayer is always the main draw. The bosses would always either kill themselves immediately or wouldn't die at all.

My main complaint with it is that the controls feel a little sloppy. It seems slippery or something? It was insanely frustrating because I kept running into glitches and killing myself because of stupid accidents resulting from the unreliable controls. Just seemed like a low budget game to me even compared to other Bomberman games.

 

Yeah that makes sense. My friend was wondering if it was the joy con issue causing him problems but sounds like maybe the controls are just bad in that game.

2 splatoon testfires so far. Loving it. So much. Going to do 2 again tomorrow.

Iffy about motion controls at first but when it clicks it is really, really, really awesome.

 

I used the motion controls on Wii U but been playing the testfire in handheld mode, can't get used to motion there. I've been doing fine with traditional, though.
