Why next year?

 

I'm trying to save money, but also going to wait on the switch till I can at least have Zelda and Mario, but mainly waiting on VC news.

 

Yeah. My love of Zelda just pushed me over. I was mad about the price but I felt like I was missing out and Zelda is my favorite game franchise ever so I gave in.

 

It's just the lineup isn't super appealing to me until probably winter time hence me might as well wait until next year.

 

Honestly I'm glad Mario isn't out yet so I can give my full attention to Zelda. I recommend you get it earlier!

Pro Tip: do not attempt to play 1, 2 Switch outside and near a pool. Two of my idiot brothers slung each joy-con when playing the "answer the phone" game and one landed directly in the pool. RIP Left Joy-Con :'(

 

Speaking of left joy con, mine is definitely fucked when using the controller dock.

my next "big" purchase is fyf fest tickets so that's probably why I'm going to at least wait until winter to get one.

 

Zelda > MARIO but I know MARIO has a bigger fan base.

If the switch had more storage space (I know you can get SD cards) I would be broke already. Bomberman, I am setsuna, etc. so many games! But Zelda is gonna keep me occupied for a good month I'm guessing.

I also bought a PS4 pro and have mafia 3, fallout 4 and witcher 3 to play but none have grabbed me to keep me going. FFXV kept me busy but the lack of story development in the game sucked. Zelda is already much better and I'm only like 3 hours in.

 

Just bought a Pro controller. They had one left at Target. Now that's I've played more Zelda, I see how the standard one is a little cramped.

Gamestop by me got 15 switches yesterday and sold all 15 within 15 minutes of being open.

I like Mario a lot but I still think I'm way less into it than most people.

I'm more excited for the new Sonic game than i am for Mario, ha.

I was more excited for Breath of the Wild than every other game this year combined.

 

mario>persona>zelda>nier was my main hype hierarchy for this year

two of those delivered beyond my wildest dreams, have high hopes for the other two

 

I'm so excited to lay Persona. Need to get back to Nier too, the few hours I played were fantastic.

 

I'm not really excited for Mario or Sonic.

P5 for sure though.
