Ratchet ain't mid and most the noms are just whatever

 

The problem is this game doesn't just have a HUGE standout game. It feels very much like the year when IGN gave game of the year to Dragon Age Inquisition.

There are a lot of good games this year, but nothing that just wowed everyone.

 

I only said Ratchet was mid so that people won't get mad. I actually think it's a a baby game for babies.

Anyway,

The game runs surprisingly well on Switch. Like really really well, so get it if you haven't played!

Biggest discount I've seen so far for the physical.

 

The fact that I enjoy Metroid Dread and Ratchet and Clank puts me in a weird position. I can’t decide if I’m a baby gamer or serious gamer.

I don’t actually think R&C is a baby game, I just think it’s stale and mechanically uninteresting.

How is any of what I said wrong. It’s the same game as the ones before.

 

Ratchet & Clank being the same as the ones before it's why it's great. They don't make 'em like that anymore, except for Insomniac. They haven't forgotten where they came from (unlike Naughty Dog).

That’s actually nothing compared to the complaining that I see when you have even the most gentle of criticisms about a game franchise a lot of people enjoy.
