This GTA release has been a total mess, huh?

 

It's almost like it was a cash grab with no real care put behind it.

 

Which remake are you talking about, GTA or Pokémon

I can mostly forgive the GTA remasters for translation issues and stuff, which I mean is kinda crazy and bad for something of Rockstars caliber, but when I was playing Vice City the other night and had so much lag I had to check to make sure I actually wasn't playing on my PS2 and was infact playing on my Nintendo Switch... yeah, thats crazy. I'll still enjoy them and I find the other stuff kinda funny but it seems like a huge botch job. Whatever ultimately. I am kinda pissed I spent 90 bucks on something nobody gave a shit about but I'll still get a huge amount of fun out of it so, who's ultimately winning?

Bought 3D World for my son's birthday back in September. I have yet to play it though (he beat it already, I think).

Bought him Mario Party Superstars for Christmas and may also buy Luigi's Mansion as well.

 

You really owe it to yourself to play 3D World. One of the best Mario games of all time imo. I bought it again for Switch AND 100%-ed it again (had already 100%-ed it back on Wii U) too. I almost never do that for games lol

 

Y'all were right about Superstars being better, I've even played it by myself a few times

 

I've watched him play it a ton, and have been meaning to play it. Looks awesome.

 

It's just the perfect translation of the 2D Mario design philosophy into a fully 3D space. It plays so well too. Can't speak highly enough about that game. Was so glad they brought it to Switch so it could actually get the love it deserves.

Bowser's Fury is really great too.

 

Apparently, Nintendo is finally acknowledging the competitive Smash scene and holding an Ultimate/Melee tournament in partnership with Panda. I'm guessing the recent Nick All Stars Brawl and the MultiVersus games had something to do with this since both of them are holding official tourneys. I'm cautiously optimistic. As much as I want this to be good, it's also Nintendo we're talking about and they have a habit of dropping the ball.

Loop Hero is fucking dangerous, stay away if you value your time ;)

it's extremely good duh, but time just fucking disappears when you play it like I've never seen before

 

Um I just got a Jirachi and Mew in like the 3rd town?

 

Jirachi from having Sw/Sh save data, Mew from having Let's Go save data

 

Being able to get Mew is simply a blessing. I won't add Mew to my party until I'm done with the gyms and elite four, though. Seems like a cheat code otherwise.

 

I don’t know why you have to wait so long to get the quick balls lol I just had to use twenty poke balls to get scyther

Maybe now we can get some of the other games rereleased over here as well. This franchise has so many cool little gems.
