Shin Megami predates Digimon by ten years, so if anything, Digimon is a watered-down Tensei.

Personally v excited for BDSP. I missed that generation growing up. It also sounds like post-game gym leader and elite four rematches are brutal with full competitive teams so I can’t wait.

 

Definitely getting Shining Pearl

 

Always had this idea they’d be a little too inaccessible for me to enjoy, but SMT V is extremely my shit

Yep, never beat the elite four in diamond and pearl but it was so hard to get to the last match that I kept resetting so I wouldn’t have to try allover again and could never win lmao

 

Like SMT V is definitely hard, but the combat/exploration is soooo good. I love just grinding and finding hidden items to help me in combat. Plus I’ve heard the franchise is brutal so put it on casual, and have no regrets. It’s still a challenge while not being too hard.

 

Just got past the second boss last night and the fun of figuring out the weakness and forming a party that is strong against the boss and can resist their strength is so rewarding.
