I'll probably hold off on the online expansion. There was only one or two n64 games I'd be interested in. Hopefully they add a lot more content fairly quickly.

 

Wish they’d just put out a N64 mini

 

If it’s a grandfathered rate, it might be worth it to just try it sooner but I can’t find how much cheaper it’ll be

 

This whole price increase is insane.

The new family plan is $80! That's just bonkers.

 

Played some of the new Warioware with a couple of friends. Definitely purchasing. I understand the complaints about getting stuck with a character that literally can't complete a mini game, but it's also easy to just laugh off when the game lasts 20 seconds tops, lol.

 

Yeah, wow. That is way too much, at least give gb color and advance games too lol

 

Was looking forward to playing OoT, but this is just ridiculous.

Who am I kidding? I'm going to pay for this anyway because I'm a sucker.

 

That is steep for just adding N64 and Genesis games but I’m going to subscribe because tbh I want to play N64 games so…

edit: and the N64 controller is already sold out smh

 

The Animal Crossing DLC being 24.99 as a stand alone is definitely being used as a price anchor for the expansion. Hoping people will have the mindset of “I want the DLC so might as well pay the extra 5 bucks for N64 games” then a year later, BAM auto renew subscription for another $30.

 

Dear Nintendo, maybe it’s the nostalgia talking but you got a butt that doesn’t quit… They got those N64 emulations… aggzfakwhsg $50?! Get out of here…

 

The only selling points for me are the portability factor and save states. If those things aren't important to you, there's no reason NOT to use emulators for that price.

I'm sure what you mean is that you can be portable and still use save states, because save states by themselves are a key feature of emulators.

When steam deck comes out can't you just put emulators on it?

 

If that's the real reason behind it then it's kind of bullshit. Who was asking for Genesis games too? Why isn't there a tier for just N64 games that costs, like, $30 instead? Pointless.

Yeah that price is fucked. Being able to play those classic games online is super tight but I can’t justify paying that much.

If they add GameCube and let me play double dash online though…I’ll go fucking broke I don’t care let’s go

 

me. I was asking for genesis games. Shinobi 3 is better than all of the Zelda games combined

 

I mean, I like Shinobi 3 but that's... (slowly backs away)

 

It’s just $50 a year

 

I pay the $20 a year and I don't think I've ever played a Switch game online.
