It froze up on me. For some reason I was going to the controller screen then back to the home screen. I kept doing that as fast as I could (pressing A B A B repeatedly) and then it just failed to load anything haha.

    Hard reset did it though.

Interesting. Will be interesting to see how these work long term. The game saves only saving the the console itself worries me long term.

I was going to post something and then I kind of lost track what it was about.

Been playing nothing but zelda. And there's hasn't been anything else yet released that wasn't on other platforms. And then the Splatoon testfire is still next week.

Which reminds me I'd have to compile this thread's friend codes before that day.

I've mostly been avoiding this thread since I don't yet have a Switch. I'll probably jump back in to give impressions on Mario Sports Superstars in a couple of weeks.

2 weeks with the Switch and I'm pretty happy with what we got.

It's not an essential purchase at the moment but it is going to be something you'd want to get, especially when other games start releasing.

The convenience of going from your bedroom to your living room and outside, playing the same videogame is incredible. It really helps keep me focused on one game at a time, compared to before when I have one 3DS game for when I'm outside and another PC/Wii U at home. I've played Zelda for more than 60 hours. Being able to play it anywhere is a godsend.

Xenoblade 2, i think is another game that will really benefit

This is Just Dance by the way, which still sells better on Wii than on any other platform. Just goes to show you that the market Nintendo uncovered was never actually dead. It's piracy that eventually killed the Wii (and the DS).

They'll probably produce them only a little at time, just like the NES Classic, so stores will only actually get a "restock" (if it can even be called that) of 2-5 units at a time, sporadically. Anyone trying to get one needs to stay vigilant and watch those stores like a hawk. Only way you'll get one.

Felt like making a big purchase and was sick of waiting around for a Switch to be available so I said fuck it and upgraded my 32" TV and got a new 49" LG 4K TV. My birthday is in a few weeks so I told my parents all I want is a Switch and Zelda and that I'll pay for half. Soo basically my whole year is gonna be made when I'm sitting and playing Zelda on my brand new TV. Trying to find a Switch in stock was giving me unnecessary stress if I'm being real, so this is better anyway.

Playing on the TV is such a bummer. I don't really have a good place to put the dock where it is accessible to take the system out and whatnot. I was keeping it behind my tv, but the remote is unresponsive at times. Now I have it in front of my tv, but its an eyesore and likely to get knocked over. I wish there were a better way to store it.

I'm tempted to grab BoI for the stickers and manual.

I know it's gotten rave reviews but can anyone here tldr what makes it so good?

Almost bought Binding of Isaac today but I really need to be saving money. I'll probably end up getting it next Thursday.

Also I've yet to hook my switch up to the tv unfortunately.

I don't know how much I'll be playing Isaac on the Switch. The Joycon just feels so unnatural and my fingers are constantly slipping off of the joysticks.

You could attach an USBC extension cable to the dock and attach the Switch that way and just put your Switch in front of the TV
