I really gotta replay Shovel Knight. Picked it up on Switch again but have solely playing Zelda with some very, very occasional Snipperclips.

edit: actually after some research, looks like that case isn't too great, went with this one instead. Looks a little roomier also

 

South Park TFBW is being teased for the Switch

 

Bought thinking it would scratch my Megaman itch. It did, but then it's also one of my favorite games maybe even more than Megaman haha

 

I posted a Dutch video by accident, it was supposed to be a news article about a patch that fixes the Wifi and framerate issues

 

So the Shovel Knight I got was Spector of Torment and not the original Shovel Knight. I played for a little while before going back to Zelda. It was still pretty fun and I'll probably pick up the other one next paycheck.

 

My job has a reward points site that and I checked it today to look around. They had a Nintendo Switch available! I snagged that sucker with my reward points. The only downside is it is the neon color version. Would've preferred the back version, but I can't complain too much.

 

bummer because I think the original shovel knight version is both games together

you definitely should have gotten treasure trove! It's the original, both expansions, and any future expansions/updates that come out.

 

There are three campaigns now: Shovel, Plague, Spector

Starting to get frustrated about not being able to locate a Switch yet

All I wanna do is play Zelda

 

this maybe is a dumb question, but let's say once VC on the Switch is available, if there are titles I purchased on my 3DS, those aren't tied to anything, right? Like I'm going to be re-buying Earthbound for instance if/when it comes to the Switch?

edit: this had to have been an issue for 3DS/Wii or Wii/WiiU owners right?

 

That has unfortunately been the case so far, but there is a sliver of hope that it may be changing due to purchases now being tied to your NNID.

 

Anyone developing any issues with their switch yet?

 

From Wii to WiiU, there was like 2$ (or less) upgrade, so you did not have to pay full price again. This time I think we can probably expect at least that, if there even is a VC like we know it that is.

I just heard from people that got both the 25$ bundle as well as the 10$ campaign (which is included in the 25$ bundle) that you can call Nintendo and they'll refund you the 10$

I only have Shovel Knight, I will absolutely be getting the DLC's. I'm obsessed with this game, can't stop playing on my vita. when I get a Switch I'd probably rebuy it to play on there. I went in expecting just a fun side scroll game, but found myself really enjoying the story it has, going to the village and talking to the characters, upgrading my stuff. just all good.

 

I've read some posts on reddit who bought both. I think they were able to successfully refund the 10 bucks.
