I preordered back in January and was pumped to get it on Friday. I was also able to walk right into GameStop and get a pro controller, which has been a dream for Zelda. I've got about 35+ hours into Zelda already, and feel confident in saying it's the best game I've ever played, even surpassing Ocarina of Time. I love that I can play it on 78" in the media room, or anywhere else in the house. Heck, my students were on a field trip the other day so I even brought it into work!

I've experienced the left joy-con connectivity issues, but since I use the pro controller all the time, it hasn't been a problem.

 

Zelda > Everything. Literally everything.

This past weekend while I was playing nonstop, I just kept saying "To be fair, Zelda was with me first." Didn't help, believe it or not.

Is there a way to buy from amazon.com and ship to canada? Maybe a dumb question.

 

I know that, I mean can i buy stuff off amazon.com and get it shipped to Canada. Amazon.ca doesnt have alot of that .com offers.

 

Started gettting left joy con sync issues. I really hope something gets sorted out because it's the first real hardware problem I've ever really had with a Nintendo system and I've loved my Switch otherwise.

 

did you hard reset with joycons attached after that launch update? I hear that helps

Been mostly lurking. Switch is def looking like it'll be my favorite handheld/console. I play side quests on the road and then the dungeons at home - I don't think any other console has allowed me that level of convenience and hearing devs talk about how easy it is to make games for it is making me even more excited.

Hoping Inside and The Witness releases on Switch.

 

encountered a shrine that i cant beat without the gamepad which kind of blows, the only games i like clearing 100% are zelda games too

nah it broke almost a year ago and a used one on amazon costs almost as much as a new console, just been using the pro controller, which until now gave me no issues

 

My wife wouldn't notice as far as the handheld unit versus the Wii U controller.

My wife was happy that the Switch was smaller than the Wii U since I keep out in the main living room.

She said that it couldn't be out in the open if I would have bought the neon joycon version haha

Just randomly typed in Nintendo into Amazon Prime Now and switch pro controllers popped up. I already have one but man if I didn't I'd be so proud of myself.

 

Is the pro controller worth it if you don't care about the Amibo feature? I don't really have a problem with the joy con. $90+ for a controller is ridiculous.

 

The Amiibo feature? You can use Amiibo on your joy-con.

 

So I went to target looking for a case. Really wanted the official $20 one, they were sold out. Went around the corner to look at amiibos, came back and found out the guy just put one on the rack. Score!!!
