Started Mario 3D World today. It's super fun, I played through the first two worlds in one sitting. Is this game super short though? Am I seeing this right that there's only 6 worlds?

 

There are tons of bonus levels after you beat the main game.

 

So I’m thinking of getting into a new game on the Switch and came across Stretchers and Road 96 and watched some reviews. Any recommendations for either game before I buy?

I didn't even realize that hitting the top of the flag was required to 100% a level in 3D World until I was halfway through world 4 lol. Luckily I didn't really have to go back to too many levels

okay so i just got a new microSD card (1TB!!) to replace my current sd card that's much smaller and i wanna make sure i don't fuck up any of my game data;
do i basically just archive all the games that are on it then remove it+insert the new one?

It's a quick and simple process usually. I'm pretty sure I usually just swap my new one in and redownload everything because I don't want to deal with the transfer process with my computer, but my memory is a little hazy.

 

yeah, that seems like a lot lol. my laptop doesn't have an sd card slot anyway; i just archived and am redownloading everything

 

Bought 3D world/Bowser's Fury for my son earlier this week. He's having a blast playing it. I haven't tried it myself yet, but looking forward to it.

This got me thinking, man, jealous of kids whose first Mario game was 3D World/Bowser's Fury lol

 

No, he has Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.

Yeah, we love that game.

I forgot we have Mario & Sonic at the Olympics too, but that game kind of sucks, although he seems to enjoy it and my (just recently turned) 4-year-old daughter can actually play a few of the competitions because you literally just press the same button over and over again for a lot of the games on that.

 

Yeah I kind of don't understand the love a lot of adults have for those Olympics games. They're obviously great for kids though.

That's confusing. So is the game done and Nintendo's just waiting for the "right time" to release it? Or is Nintendo being a perfectionist and having them still work on it?

Also, telling someone not to worry is 100% the fastest way to get someone to worry.
