The amount of hours I’ve put into Three Houses is embarrassing.

I really enjoyed the Golden Deer route. Claude is much more interesting of a character than he originally seems at first glance

From my BE run I poached Mercedes from the Blue Lions and married her. Then I played as a female in my GD run and married Sylvain.

Can somebody explain FE to me? I've never played one before. Is it like, a tactical RPG teaching simulator with lots of dialogue? And anime?

 

that's pretty much correct and it's fun as hell

 

It's a turn-based strategy series first and foremost. Starting with Fire Emblem: Awakening on 3DS in 2013, they added a bunch of relationship sim elements to the series, where you could get characters to romance each other and even have children that then become part of your roster of heroes.

The teaching sim stuff is just in Three Houses, because the whole hook of that game was that it takes place at basically a military boarding school and your character becomes a professor there. It also has the relationship sim elements too.
