It’s delayed until 2022, right? Haven’t seen anything official about it, though

I finished Galaxy. Game was amazing, such a fun gameplay loop and it never really felt cheap very often like the other two games do sometimes (besides hating a lot of the "vehicle" sections but I pretty much always hate motion controls in games now). Pretty impressive that this might have been my favorite game in the 3D Allstars pack after a first playthrough when I have such intense nostalgia for the other two games

Not sure what I'm gonna play next that I've finally finished 3D Allstars lol. I still have Mario 3D World, Paper Mario and Skyward Sword sitting unopened near my TV (plus Mass Effect Legendary Edition for non-Switch games)

This is a pretty common take actually. The only thing that bothers me a little about Galaxy in comparison to the other two is that the levels are often so small. But it certainly does mostly "play" better.

Galaxy 2 by the way is by many considered to be even better than Galaxy (I do not really have an opinion on this personally), so if you have a Wii or WiiU, maybe try that one.

Also 3D World is definitely something you should play right away.

In my first hour of skyrim I tried climbing down a cliff, got stuck on some invisible bit of the wall, the game immediately autosaved and I had to lose 15 minutes of progress loading an old save. I see why this game is so acclaimed!

Bethesda gets a pass on too much shit in their games. Their bugs are part of their "charm".

So many people make those kinds of excuses for developers, it’s frustrating and actually sucks when they should be fixing the issue lol

yeah like it's not cute any more, the game is literally 10 years old, at this level of success some more post-launch support would be welcome.

It’s not just that game, it’s any game. They think fixing any minuscule issue is some kind of year long labor, while I’m very sympathetic to people who work for gaming companies, its very easy to fix some things but sometimes the company doesn’t want to pay their employees to do it and why the hell would they do it for free? Some gamers have built in bootlicking that’s just aggravating to hear.

I think in their case their engine is actually really that broken, but they have no financial incentive to fix it (which probably actually would take a lot of work) because people put up with it

That’s even more ridiculous, so their game is broken and they’re just like “whoops” lol that’s some cyberpunk shit right there haha

I’ll probably never play animal crossing again because the characters emotes have been broken and they never fixed it, they were fine for months until slowly, a glitch started spreading through the game and more and more characters don’t respond back. It’s dumb but it’s something that is very simple to fix because they have all the animations already, they simply need to patch them in and it’s really not thatttt hard. When a game does that well they just simply shrug and don’t give a shit.

They even once said that it is impossible to make games like they make that aren't as broken lol

that sounds like they’re already setting up an excuse to fire more people, cut pay and make worse quality games.
