do you mean the worst version or skyrim compared to other consoles/releases or the worst elder scrolls game? because i would definitely push back on the latter... skyrim is freaking awesome, even 10+ years later.

 

Idk if that's true, I think that really depends on what kind of people you ask lol

 

I put probably 100+ hours into it when it first came out and I was in college. I just recently started a new game on the PS4 version and immediately played for like five hours lol

 

So Pokemon Legends: Arceus is an origin story for Team Galactic?

 

Also, zero mention of gyms or trainer battles? They’re gonna nuke a core gameplay component just like BOTW did with Dungeons aren’t they lol

Yeah Skyrim is easily my favorite BGS game lol. Keeping in mind that BGS didn't make the best Fallout game, Obsidian did.

 

also it's probably the only one that's still "playable" with 2021 sensibilities.

It wasn’t even my opinion, I’ve never even played the game. I have a lot of friends who love the game series but have told me they considered it a slog to get through the whole thing so they don’t like it as much compared to the others. There’s really no reason to immediately overreact and try to dunk on someone because you disagree all the time, especially when you didn’t let me explain why I said that lol

Snobbery and elitism are partially why I stopped playing video games for a decade, meanwhile the developers are making oodles off the people arguing semantics. I’m not sure where people get the energy to argue about such pointless shit haha

I mean, I'll agree that I think a lot of people love Morrowind and would love a remake, but there is absolutely no way Skyrim is the worst one in the franchise "by far".

 

There are Morrowind people, Oblivion people and Skyrim people, and it's mostly depends on how much they are into hardcore western RPGs (and how much they can tolerate old ass janky 3D games)

 

I want to pick skyrim up for switch eventually, I've never played it. Just a shame physical copies are so hard to come by/expensive, I don't want to have another huge game downloaded on my memory card.

 

I’ve beaten Skyrim like five times and I’m still basic and never do anything besides be a true warrior and beat everyone with my sword and shield

 

Today's direct has me way more interested in BD/SP than I was previously.

 

I have a ton of nostalgia for Oblivion, but Skyrim is far superior
