To be fair that seems like a hardware problem or unique to your setup. Can you borrow someone else’s right joycon?

 

I have a second set, I’ll try those later. That’s mostly why I was posting here, to gauge whether others were experiencing the same issue. I may just have a faulty joycon, since this is the first time since launch in 2017 that I’ve ever played a game with motion controls on here.

 

It would be so nice for Jeff Grubb to shut up sometimes and actually do something besides just getting himself attention by "leaking" info. Like go do something else.

 

Yeah I’m 100% certain a lot of insiders are just doing it for the attention. It’s both sad and tiring.

 

The recent (only?) MHS2 patch was really good. It really improved the performance.

 

Monster Hunter is so so fun. I can spend hours just grinding without getting bored.

 

“Metroid Prime Trilogy is already done” is, like, not even a new “leak”. That’s been a thing for at least two years lol

 

Yeah, they mention that Imran Khan said it a while back as well. I like him and trust him much more than Jeff Scrubb.

 

I 100% believe the metroid prime trilogy is ready but Nintendo is waiting to release it closer to whenever Prime 4 is done.

 

Prime 4 will never be fucking done, it’s a meme at this point.

 

Not remotely surprised you have to reset the pointer often in Skyward Sword. Mario Galaxy had the same issue for me

Purchased The RE Origins collection and completely forgot the cartridge is only RE 0 haha. Really trying to have physical copies of everything and once again hit a snag.

 

I’m fairly indifferent about a switch pro now. My steam deck will brute force every switch game at higher res and higher frame rate.

 

Everyone keeps talking about how the stream deck is the ultimate machine because you can just pirate and play Switch games on there and I just want to whack every single person who says something like that upside the head.

I wouldn't pirate the games, I'd still buy them. I have an OG switch so I can just dump the ROMs.

Also I genuinely don't think pirating is ever justified. Nobody is entitled to entertainment. If you don't like the deal being put up, just don't buy it or wait for a sale.

 

I can't see myself actually buying the Steam deck, but it would be pretty cool to run a modded BOTW ROM. I've seen so many funny videos of what you can do with those mods

 

If Nintendo chooses to not provide people with a legitimate path to pay for their extensive back catalogue, then pirating those games becomes the only way to play them and, therefore, is morally justified. People want to give Nintendo their money, Nintendo...doesn't want to take it. If they did, there'd be a Virtual Console on Switch with all of their first-party games from the NES to the present.

 

I think BOTW2 will be more fun than any ROM mod could ever be haha

I’m having this same issue. I have to recenter the pointer every time I point at the screen. So frustrating. Even after that the pointer is all herky-jerky. I don’t remember the Wii version being a pain in the ass like this. In fact I remember how smooth the motion controls were.

 

I personally don’t have a problem with it anymore. I’m still bad at flying the bird though.
