I hope there’s no switch pro tbh, if they wanted it than they missed their chance. Just make the next console so good it doesn’t need a pro.

Lol yeah the 3DS numbers have to be so bumped up from a lot of people buying every version or limited edition that came out.

Maybe but I don’t see the point with only giving it a year before the next console comes out, I’m sure other people feel differently but I’d rather just save up for the nintendo octogarden or whatever

I guess that’s why they’re so expensive and hard to find lol I was looking for one the last few years and to get one in good condition you either get a used one for what retail once was or way more. It sucks. I just wanted to play some games they never ported to switch.

Now can they get to the real important stuff like bringing back the original zoids and klonoa franchises?

I don’t think the next Nintendo console will come out next year, in terms of sales the Switch is not yet nearing the end of its lifecycle

No but 2023, if the pro comes out next year and the new console comes out the year after I’d rather just wait but I’m sure a ton of geeks would not mind at all

2023 makes sense for the successor

    2017 - Base Switch
    2019 - Switch Lite
    2021 - OLED
    2023 - ??? Profit

Could not agree with this more. Just make sure the next console is as good as it can be and drop it in 2023.

I mean factually there's nothing wrong with what he is saying, the Tegra processor in the Mariko model and the OLED model are severely underclocked and undervolted to achieve the advertised battery life.

The question is if these "unlocked" modes will ever reach the public.

I'm calling bullshit on 60fps altogether. There's no way they would not advertise that. And if we are strictly talking about the OLED panel itself, it won't do anything to aid in the boosting of FPS. The Tegra processor they are using for this new model would need to bring sizeable performance gains, but again, they would advertise that. And if SMO could run at 60FPS, then theoretically any game should be able to.

No, there's still going to be a lot of talk about the Switch Pro since people are saying it's still a thing, but chip shortages and other factors have caused them to delay it and release this model to eventually replace the original Switch.

How I feel about the people up in arms across the internet currently:

But seriously, it's not that I think Nintendo wouldn't release a successor to the Switch at this point, it's more that people thought it was going to be chasing specs. Nintendo has quite frankly survived this long in the business by decidedly not playing the same game Sony and Microsoft play.

Also, as mentioned earlier, Nintendo has gone on record as saying the Switch is only halfway through it's lifecycle and they've announced a bunch of stuff for next year. To undercut all that and divide their fanbase by releasing a new console wouldn't make any sense.
