I'd be interested in seeing how many wii units and Switch units were intially shipped as well. Seems like the Switch is having less issues in that regard.

 

Man the screen protector was impossible to get on. Could not get rid of all the bubbles so I just said fuck it.

 

Starting to see A LOT of unresponsiveness in the left Joycon. Movement completely seizes or has a big delay on it. Bleh.

 

Using the pro controller for the first time. Feels really comfortable. Haven't used the joy con grip yet. I think tomorrow I'm going to finally connect the dock

 

The Wolf Link Amiibo function is pretty good

Hopefully those kinds of figures create a positive feedback loop, with more games made which leads to more hardware sales which leads to more games made. That might carry it beyond a year before being mostly abandoned.

 

I hope they port Tropical Freeze to the Switch.

 

tbh I forgot for a little while that this isn't just a Zelda machine and that more games were coming. it got me so excited all over again. I love this thing.

 

I completely cleared that game out on Wii U but I would love for more people to be able to experience it. I might even consider getting again to take on the go. I loved having the original DKCR on 3DS.

 

Yeah I really like DKCR on the 3DS and I never got around to TF so I'd love it on the Switch.

 

Apparently there's going to be a console version of Pokemon on the Switch as well. Pokemon Stars. Could be a rumor but all signs are pointing to it actually being real.

 

Yeah I'd be surprised if there isn't. It'll have to be a big improvement for me to buy it again though. I'm still playing Moon.

 

Apparently it's Sun and Moon with different Pokemon to catch and such. Pokebank comes in handy for this.

 

If they add new Pokémon I might get it. Depends how many.

 

I'm still playing Sun as well - I haven't gotten very far since life has been busy. I just want to play a Pokemon game at home in the TV and don't really bring my 3DS with me unless I'm on tour or flying.

 

Speaking of Amiibos, I was just going through this to see what I had and I did not remember having this many. Jesus what am I gonna do with these things

 

They haven't made a "third Pokemon game" in a while and they at one point said they weren't going to either. I wouldn't count it out of course, but I think the next real Pokemon game will be a propper mainline game coming out in 2018.

 

I imagine at some point you're going to be glad you did. It's only a matter of time until Nintendo launches a true "amiibo only" game, they already tested the waters on 3DS with the Mario & Donkey Kong game. Probably free-to-download. And you'll be ready, lol.

 

Apparently GameStop accidentally leaked one for the Switch. The rumor is it'll be announced at E3. I would love a mainline console version.

 

Imagine a brand new full console Pokémon. I'd be so excited.

 

Pokémon Sun and Moon were the best games since Gold and Silver, and I loved them... but with all those unskippable cut scenes that were already hard to swallow on my first go, I would never start from scratch again. At least not for a few years. Let me trim the fat and press "skip" and I'm in, but if not, it'll be the first main series Pokémon game I skip on launch day since Gold/Silver.

 

I would not expect a "console" Pokemon with the scope that something like that implies. I'd expect somethint along the lines of Sun/Moon, with better textures. Pokemon has an amazing return on investment, and turning it into Skyrimon would mess that up.

 

I agree. And I like "Skyrimon". But hey, turning Zelda into "Zelder Scrolls" paid off ;).
