Fairly sure we knew it was only in very early stages

Oh yeah, there was a lot of footage of it despite that so that’s why I didn’t realize. Hopefully early next year.

Star Fox Zero would have been fantastic if it didn't have the weird gyroscope controls and shooting. And those levels where you control a drone pretty much sucked. But other than that, the game felt a lot like Star Fox 64. I wouldn't mind a Switch port of this game minus all the bullshit I just mentioned.

I actually never play handheld. I tried playing Breath of the Wild when a tornado wrecked my hometown last year, but I struggled too much. Too much going on to play on such a small screen and with the left and right controls so far away, it just doesn't feel right after being so used to playing on a big screen and with a pro controller.

    ---

I was going to order the special edition of Metroid Dread but it appears to be sold out everywhere, so I just went with the special edition.

I actually sold my OG switch and got a switch lite since I never played docked, it is so much more comfortable to me

I only played handheld for like the first two years of having a switch.

I think sales from the previous games in the West and some other factors changed their prioritization of localizing those games. It's been a very long time since we've heard an official update if I recall correctly, but I'm not 100% on that.

It's a shame because it feels like it should just be a no-brainer and nice game for kids to have to hold them over until more Pokemon entries.

So Wii U hasn't closed their online store yet? Guessing that's the only way you guys are getting old Zelda games on it?

God I’m watching the Metroid Dread gameplay and I’m so hyped. There have been a lot of good Metroidvanias over the years, but nothing really captures this atmosphere, the sense of wonder at the new upgrades, boss battles, etc. as well.

I'm definitely excited about Metroid Dread, but bummed they didn't show anything for Animal Crossing. They claimed they'd support it for two years, but that's not looking so good. Even a bunch of Zelda outfits would've been something, but nope. Oh well.

This is one of the worst animal crossing games. It sucks because it used to be my favorite series.
