Thought the direct was amazing. No word on Zelda sucks but with development in general being rough is it wrong to assume Zelda collection could be the fall announcement with a holiday release?

 

My only thought with other Zelda ports is that they wouldn’t do it before Skyward Sword. Still, Nintendo is dropping the ball hard with this. Also, fuck GameStop lmao:

 

Unless you hate story based games, it's definitely worth it. The first time I played Phoenix Wright was a ton of fun

 

Going in I said if there is 1 game I want to buy this year I'll be happy. Pumped for new 2d metroid. Not surprised BOTW isn't this year nor will I be surprised when it's March 2023. Pretty bummed the Donkey Kong rumors weren't true (yet) - a new Nintendo 3D platformer is due.

I think they mentioned no other games for the anniversary so I doubt it

 

There will be more announcements later in the year, but there isn't a "big" game for this holiday so far.

 

100% going to buy Mario Party, WarioWare, and Tony Hawk

Why didn’t they just merge the mario party games together with a dlc or something?

 

Couldn't watch but Metroid, Advance Wars and Warioware? Those alone are perfection, damn

 

That should have been part of Super Mario Party on release or at least DLC. I'm kind of upset it's its own thing. I can't see myself buying another Mario Party for the same system so soon.

 

Not bringing Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to Switch this year is baffling, even by Nintendo standards.

Can't believe Metroid Dread is real. Just amazing. Was jumping out of my chair.

I like Advance Wars a lot but I was really hoping for a Fire Emblem remake that has never been localized in the West before. Still, will probably get the AW remake because I don't think I ever played the second one and it's been so long since I played the first one that I barely remember it.

Not going to get WarioWare but happy for people that are excited.

Can't stand Mario Party. Never been interested in Mario Golf at all.

SMT V should be great.

Always heard good things about Danganronpa, may check that out.

Breath of the Wild 2 footage looked incredible.

Overrall it was a fine Direct that had some moments of greatness, chief among them being Metroid Dread. Definitely one of the better presentations of the weekend, not that the bar has been set very high.

The floating islands in the sky in botw2 is such a cool idea.

The two player mode in Warioware looks fun as hell.

 

Advance Wars remake looks incredible in action

 

Took advantage of the eShop sale and bought Scott Pilgrim, The Last Campfire, and Among Us. Among Us is for my kid. I’ve never played it and don’t understand it.
