no Zelda collection was kind of a bummer

 

Also where was Sports Story? No news because its not coming out this year and its not special like BOTW or Mario+Rabbids?

 

Tentatively really excited for Metroid Dread. Didn't like Samus returns much but hoping that had more to do with the source material than the developer behind it.

 

That Metroid game looks really cool. I love the art style.

 

So wait, why does linc give his soul to satan for elemental abilities?

They finally did what everyone was asking for with the new Mario Party collection. That actually may be the surprise hit in the direct along with Super Monkey Ball.

Adding online play to all the modes in Mario Party with classic maps and games and a pause feature for online is real smart. Only took them 20 years, but they did it.

 

Metroid. Very stoked.

I’m 100% buying Mario Golf.

I’ll finally buy THPS.


No Zelda collection bummed me out tbh

 

I just played most of Super Metroid and wanted to bang my head against a wall. Prime trilogy is amazing though.

 

Metroid, Mario Party, Wario Ware and the BOTW2 footage was more than enough to satisfy me

 

wario and metroid got me pumped

 

Wanted there to be some nintendo exclusive stuff for fall guys but noooooope

 

When is N64 coming to Online? Madness

 

Next summer is probably gonna be twilight plus wind waker similar to how they did mario

 

Can't wait for Advance Wars

 

Yeah I rage quit Super Metroid on like, the second boss.

 

For the time of release I can understand why it was so well revered, but playing it for the first time in this day and age, holy shit. There are some things that just absolutely make zero sense and you wouldn't figure out unless you were spending hours just shooting and bombing every damn wall and block.

 

What got me is that if you enter a boss fight with low health and die, you respawn with the same low health.

 

Really wanted Wind Waker on Switch. Pretty disappointed with the direct.

I don’t know if I want to spend full price on the Mario Party collection.. Metroid Dread looks pretty cool. I’ve never really played 2D Metroid games. Was hoping for the next Mario Kart too. Tekken Smash character does nothing for me.

This year I’ll probably get:
Mario Golf
Skyward Sword HD
Metroid Dread
Mario Party Superstars

I guess that’s fine

 

SMT V looked really rough. I was so surprised by the release date.

 

I'm excited for super monkey ball and advanced wars

 

Lots of games on sale right now. Is Phoenix Wright worth it for $20? I've never played that type of game before.
