Finally got to the next level of upgrades after beating the second urgent quest, literally had one minute left when I beat the giant stork lol why is this game so hard

Yeah. Monster Hunter was pretty overwhelming at first. But I took my time with it and tried to understand one concept at a time, looked at guides, and watched YouTube videos. There’s still one or two things I still don’t get though.

I haven’t watched any guides but I do look things up every now and then so I don’t have to waste a few days trying to get past stuff. The game is truly at its best when you’re taking down a giant platypus turtle with a few other people. Also, I finally forged some armor and it’s made things slightly easier.

I actually don’t play online, but I imagine it makes the game a lot easier

It makes getting armor wayyyy easier, the online is a story mode in itself. As you slay more monsters, you get more monsters to slay. Regular story mode is just such a slog, I only do it when I definitely have to.

It just helps to have other targets around so when you need to break away and heal or resharpen your weapon the monster has other people to focus on. That alone makes it way easier.

You can really only get dragonite ores in lava caverns? Ugh. I’m never gonna be able to upgrade this weapon lol

Could you imagine a neopets game that’s like a hybrid digimon world and animal crossing? That would be kind of awesome

I would settle for a remake of digimon dawn and dusk tbh

They did pretty recently, with Re:Digitize on the PSP (although you need a fan translation patch) and Next Order on the PS4. Both pretty great games, and they even made the grinding (slightly) less tedious than the original was.

Eating before a mission is a must now. I pay with points cause I have thousands racked up.

Need some advice from a Monster Hunter expert. Been feeling like I want to get another MH game, but dont think Rise has enough content that I havent seen before to justify the price, so I was looking at either Generations Ultimate or Iceborne. I've played 3, 3U, 4U and World, so I have some knowledge of the old style but Im wondering if anyone has gone back to any of those games after playing World. Do they hold up or is it unplayable now?

What’s the monster hunter weapon where it’s just a scepter that uses a charged up laser beam? lol might need to switch, that seems awesome

Started Bravely Default II over the weekend and I like it so far, I think they added a lot of features that more RPG's should have just for convenience sake. That said, I haven't really started progressing yet because I'm trying to finish the freelancer class with everyone first, so I'm just grinding it out before really starting chapter 1

Keeping my expectations realistic and hoping for some Axiom Verge 2 news. Developer has said it will come out in the spring.
