Neat! Very much looking forward to it

 

Honestly I would splurge on the official one. It’s so comfortable and the battery life is fantastic. I have no experience with a third party controller so I cannot comment on those. I bought the pro controller at Walmart because it was the cheapest there, but they all may be the same now.

 

I probably charge the PS4 controller two or three times before I have to charge the Switch Pro Controller again. It is a great controller.

 

I feel like the Pro controller lasts like 30 hours. I never charge it lol

Does anyone else wonder when we'll get a 2D Super Mario Bros game specifically for the Switch? The closest we have is the Wii U port.

I asked this question in the Switch subreddit without clarifying I meant 2D and people were soooo hostile. I hate Reddit.

 

I think they were banking on Mario Maker continuing to be successful, although I don't think that game did as well as Nintendo expected. I suspect it will be several years before there is a new traditional 2D Mario game.

 

I use the 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro+. It has a nice feel to it, great d-pad, good sticks. I guess the only issue is that the sticks are not offset, which takes some getting used to. It also goes on sale for around 30-35 dollars pretty regularly.

 

What makes you think that? I’m pretty sure it did well. Like most Nintendo games on Switch it probably still is selling briskly enough. The reason we’re probably actually not getting new 2D Mario is that MM2 and especially the 2D Mario from WiiU that they ported over are still selling too well to make another. It’s the same situation as Mario Kart.

Yeah, you may be right. I know it sold well initially. Not sure how it's doing now. I follow the Mario speedrunning/kaizo community, and it seems like most of them have gone back to making rom hacks rather than MM2 levels. But that's a pretty niche community.

 

Ok I take back what I said about the visuals here, there must have been something REALLY wrong with the stream quality the other day. The HD upgrade looks fantastic.

 

Funny, I had stream problems too so you may be right.

 

Really hope WW still happens. Skyward Sword is just awful to look at, even in HD.

 

Three good games. That guy is a goon and takes pride in just leaking a bunch of stuff.

I don’t understand why they don’t just make a port for basically every Nintendo game. At least the biggest/best selling ones. You don’t have to go through the more laborious process of remastering to get people to pay for for their favorite nostalgic games again

 

It’ll be funny if they do a port for every pokemon game next week haha

Really hope we get the Diamond/Pearl remakes announced this week. Never played them back on DS.

 

Was just playing random Gen 4 battles of Pokémon on pokemonshowdown and it’s wild to see that it was still 2D pixelated but the Pokémon still feel fairly new to me. Like Lickilicky
