Was torn between buying crosscode and trials of mana. Ended up getting crosscode.

If I wanted to play trials of mana, should go get the remastered version or buy the collection and play the original?

 

Pretty sure they said they weren’t going to do a second Let’s Go game. Let’s Go was an outlier as far as their game development pattern goes. They were just trying to capitalize on the success of Pokémon Go and made a game with similar catching mechanics for more casual Pokémon fans.

Also it’s not really random because Gen IV would be next in line for remakes. With the other remakes, they were released following a new gen mainline game and used the same engine (like they did for XY and ORAS, which is the most recent example). These Sinnoh remakes would most likely have the same game engine/mechanics/etc as SwSh. Surely there will probably be some minor changes but there aren’t going to be huge changes in the way the game looks.

 

I think they cranked out Go because they weren’t ready for a big one on Switch and Nintendo was bringing the hammer down

 

Yeah that definitely played into that as well.

 

Yeah for some reason I completely blanked on the fact that Soul/Heart, Alpha/Omega existed lol. Of course it makes sense.

 

Me too. I didn’t play any of the games from Gen 4-Gen 6 so I’m looking forward to checking it out.

 

Gen IV has the best OST of any games in the series imo

 

I never played the Collection version, but the remaster is amazing. My favorite game of 2020.

 

Finally gonna play Ori

 

I bought Dragon Quest XI and am loving it so far.

 

So good. One of my favorite games I’ve played in years.

 

Definitely just play the remake, I loved it a ton.

 

Okami is a very good Zelda game.

 

Unlike Breath of The Wild

 

Finally picked up where I left off with FE: Three Houses last week and have been obsessively dumping 5 or more hours a day into it. I dropped it about a month after it’s original release date because work was overwhelming and I never went back to it. Was debating between picking up something new or going back to finish my Black Eagles run and I think I made the right choice.

 

This is EXACTLY what happened to me. I love what I played of it, but there was just so much.

 

Wow Splatoon is cheap right now. Might finally buy it

 

Such a good game. I need to do my Blue Lions run!

Yeah I found out I had $13 in eshop points, so for $29 I decided it was more than worth it! Excited to try it out

 

Jeeze, I don't know why these Splatoon controls are so difficult for me to master heh. Really hard to get used to gyro controls. Not sure if the Joycons feel any more natural than my pro controller for the aiming aspect of the game?

 

once you finish the tutorial you can turn off gyro controls. so much better without them imo

 

Yeah, I never got the hang of gyro controls from the jump and never desired to go back to them after turning that feature off. Some people are absolutely smitten with it though.

 

Just them off and play it like a normal game. It makes it much better idgaf what anyone here says
