Turns out that the 5 I picked are IGNs top 5 picks, just in a slightly different order

 

PIcked up WIngspan last night and played for a while. Super relaxing game. Pretty complicated at first, but it's like Civ where you just completely lose track of time when you're playing.

 

Wife stared playing Ring Fit! Looks fun, and can’t wait to play too. Holy hell is there a lot of story dumps in the first hour tho.

 

I always wanted to try out the physical board game. Might have to pick this one up.

I don’t know if my wallet will allow for 25 even though my son seems to think money just grows on trees.

 

How does Biockshook look on the Switch? I watched a video that said it has done fairly well.

 

That IGN list has Xenoblade 2 instead of Xenoblade 1 so it's kind of automatically invalidated just for that reason alone.

 

Should be fine, it’s more powerful than a 360 after all

 

Any list that doesn’t include Luigi’s mansion 3 in at least the top 10 is a big red flag

 

LM3 is great, but suffers from poor game mechanics in terms of aiming and some parts of the game are very difficult to figure out without walkthroughs to me, but maybe that's because I suck at videogames haha

 

How dare they put the better game on the list.

sidenote: its nice after being away for this forum for a while vase is still wakes up everyday and chooses violence on the forum lol

 

I think Rex is a pretty fun protagonist, but otherwise I think I agree

 

he might be a fun protag but... he got no drip

There is literally no comparison between Shulk and Rex lol like it’s plainly obvious Shulk is the superior character.

 

Finally beat Hades for the first time (haven't played much in the last month). Did it with the shield in the end. So satisfying.

 

That game looks great

 

Took me forever with the shield. I'm automatic with the spear now. Can't beat it with the bow.

 

It really is, can't recommend it enough.

Was surprised I did it with the shield first, I'm much more comfortable with the bow. I guess I just had a good boon set up and was fortunate to go into the final boss with all my death defiances in tact.

 

My best run has been with the bow. I think I’m at like 24 escape attempts and I have nearly beaten the Elysium bosses twice. Took a couple days off of it to play some other things in my backlog.

Is 24 attempts high or low for nearly clearing Elysium? Wanna know how bad I am...

 

It's not even about the cast. The world, story and gameplay of XC2 is just more exciting and fun.

 

I think the average is around 30 for beating it

 

I just got Hades today and got to Elysium on my 2nd attempt. Had the bow with a "doom" skill so I was able to cheese the whole thing. Didn't last long once I got there though.
