there IS a single player campaign, but it isn't really all that. the main draw and value for the $60 price point is the online multiplayer. isn't really worth it otherwise.

Idk people here keep saying they like short campaigns and that is a very fun, short campaign. If you can get it for 30 especially.

 

I decided on Yoshi’s Crafted World. Three levels in and this is so much fun.

 

Mario Odyssey is actually on sale and I'm playing it for the first time and it's sooooooooo fun the level design demands me to find all the secrets

Sadly it also eliminates the best ones. You could play DQ11 in 2D mode, I guess. Also, Octopath Traveller is good.

 

I played the demo for DQ11 and enjoyed it, but not sure I need to keep playing that one. Still waiting for a price cut for Octopath.

 

Xenoblade 1 I guess is somewhat moderate when it comes to anime girls. That’s a great game. Xenoblade 2 is great too but full anime.

 

Full price octopath is not worth it due to how grindy it is. I’d say $30 is a fairer price

 

I’m not trying to get my hopes up but Matthew Griffin is PR for Silksong so...maybe some news finally

Cosmic Star Heroine was fun, only takes about 10 hours or so. DQ11 is also incredible. Octopath is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time but it does for sure have its problems.

The Star Ocean remake is good, as is Trials of Mana, which is probably my game of the year.

 

Oh dang, I forgot about Star Ocean. I may have to give that one a try. Good rec.

 

Did anyone buy the ported Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon? Is it worth it if I already played the DS remake?
