I'm on the castle floor right now and loving it, so much fun problem solving so far!

 

I loved Luigi's Mansion 3 but I did find myself missing the singular mansion environment of the original game. I played it when I was like 9 to be fair but I felt like it had a genuinely creepy atmosphere for a kid's game and I loved how you just kept going deeper and deeper into the house

 

I love the movie studio boss battle. So good.

I just wish it was a lot easier to be precise with aiming in LM3. Shooting those bombs into the piano was very annoying under pressure. Overall, the controls feel a little janky, wish the right stick was inverted, and it's weird that they teach you to use the face buttons so you can't use the right stick to aim, when the right and left triggers do the same thing to free up your right thumb. What a weird decision to not tell players that's an option haha.

Still really enjoying the game though. Just beat the castle boss last night and that was a lot of fun. Way easier than the piano boss

 

It’s the best game. You’ll fly through them once you get the hang of it

I’m just going to pick up the Spyro trilogy on the eShop. I like to own games physically but only the first game is on the cartridge. The other 2 I’ll have to download. How did Witcher 3 and all it’s dlc fit but not the 3 Spyro games lmao

 

Picked up Yoshi’s Craft World since I’ve been interested in it for a little bit. I’m sure my son is going to love it. Couldn’t beat $27 for it. Told my sister about Super Mario Bros Deluxe, so she’s picking that up for Christmas to give to me (we have a rule to keep everything to $30 or below and just tell one another what to pick up for the other). Also picked up Rogue Squadrons for $17 and Jedi Fallen Order for $25. I need to show my PS4 some love.

 

Anyone play bioshock yet? $20 for the collection seems like a steal

 

Yep. Been playing Infinite all day.

 

Bioshock is one of my favourite horror-y shooting games.

YCW is so fun and adorable. I played the majority of it, but kinda forgot about it because it is really easy, but I'm sure your son will totally love it. That's an amazing price

Yeah Luigi’s Mansion 3 has its own handful of achievements

 

Yep, I didn't mean profile-wide achievements like on xbox, meant in-game, like when you get billiards balls into the pool table
