Did not like the combat in Ni No Kuni much at all

 

There's definitely some quirky stuff about it. I think I liked the combat more in the second, but the second game overall was worse.

 

Finished it a few weeks ago and it was very good

 

Just grabbed Rune Factory 4 for $24.99 at Best Buy

I feel like I couldn't get the timing right.


The story, writing and visuals are beautiful at least.

 

Its so cheap on the eshop at the moment that I'll probably pick it up.

That said, I bought Hades this evening so I probably won't get to it for a while.

 

okay after three years I finally got a pro controller and yes, it does rule

 

Okay bought the wired Gamecube controller now we are REALLY rollin

 

I cannot articulate how god damn good it feels to hold a Gamecube controller for the first time in years

 

I realized not long ago I can use a Pro Controller with my Lite, sounds like not the GameCube controller unfortunately. I'd get one just for RE4

 

Ni No Kuni is a classic

 

picked up Death Road to Canada on sale. it's a really fun game! first played it a while back with a couple friends while high and i did NOT do well, lmao.

 

WiiU WW is better than the original

 

WW is the second best Zelda game for me

Cliche but OoT is the best imo

They fixed the end game, though WW original is still great too

So I've played about 30 minutes of Hades so far, really enjoying it. Quick question - whats the deal with the boons and the rewards on the doors? Is it random which ones appear or can you influence it somehow?

Super Lone Survivor announced for Switch, PC - Gematsu

This is actually really cool. A game rewritten in a modern engine, 60 FPS on Switch and new content.

I remember really liking this game on PC and I'm glad he's doing a full reworked version for new players and Switch.

 

How's pikmin

 

Yes they are random, there are keepsakes you can unlock later on that will decide which boon you start with, there is also an unlock for an ability that can change the reward for a specific door but that will be random also.

I've got as far as unlocking the bow, I'm enjoying the spray attack you can use with that. Guessing I won't be sticking with it once I unlock other weapons though.

 

Play around with the hammer upgrades, they are reallllly helpful for pretty much all weapons
