I want to clarify something about my thoughts on Control. I think the story and the world are interesting, I just don't think it has a satisfying payoff and they drop a lot of balls that make it truly unique, but there are a lot of things to enjoy about it.

Also, just something you should keep in mind. The game allows you to scale the difficulty in a very cool way. You can basically turn on god mode if you want to by making you invincible and turning on all enemies get killed in one hit. Or you can use the slider for how much damage reduction you want when getting hit by enemies.

Am I wrong for hating the character design in Bravely Default?

I’m also a little tired of crystals being a main theme in all JRPG’s..

They aren’t though, not anymore. Bravely Default was created specifically to cater to people who want a throwback-style JRPG experience.

I thought Link Between Worlds was well designed but also a little lifeless

Didn’t Control run pretty badly on PS4? How did they manage to put it on the Switch?

Both that game and Hitman 3 are streaming (which clearly isn't out yet).

I did the streaming for Control, it gives you a demo which allows you to test your connection and I had nearly no errors and I was pretty far from my router actually. I would recommend.

That’s crazy. Playing Control on PS4 right now, and enjoying it. Though was wondering how on earth it could be on Switch. Streaming makes more sense.

I wonder how often we will see a release like Control on the switch that uses this streaming stuff.

If it does comparatively well and works for most people then I think we can expect this to happen a lot

Finished the demo for age or calamity. It’s fun but kind of chaotic. I’ll definitely rent it when it releases to finish it.

Well, considering RE7 and AC Odyssey were streaming a long time ago in different regions and now we have Control and Hitman 3 coming out, I think it's safe to say this is something they're serious about pursuing. It completely works around the system's power problem and makes a Pro Switch much much more appealing knowing not only could it run games in 4K or just 1080 with a better battery life, but that it might have better wifi or online connectivity that allows for a smoother streaming service.

    I think it's very smart.

Streaming will change the video game hardware market within the next generation profoundly

I played Halo on my phone using an Xbox One controller and it looks and plays fantastic. If that's the kind of world we have right now then I think in the next five years we are going to see a drastic shift.

It's really humorous to look at Game Pass and applaud them while Sony, if they actually paid attention to any of their services, could have made PS Now and incredibly viable option for consumers. You can stream PS2/PS3/PS4 games and download PS4 games onto your system all for a subscription price that's very attractive.

Sony has a remarkable talent for creating good products and then horribly mismanaging or utilizing them and claiming them as failures.

I know I'm late here, but Hades is really good. It's difficult but never feels cheap. The progression is slow, but the story and lore help ease that a bit. I might also be bad.

never a bad time to get into Hades!
i'm okay but not amazing at it; i turned on the "God Mode" recently just so i could get through more of the story and it just adds 2% damage resistance (starting with 20%) after every time you die. i'm all the way at 30% right now i STILL suck at this

Blasphemy. You wait until you can pay Nintendo $60 to play it on the Switch like a good boy.
