The third boss on Hades has me friggin roadblocked. Everyone's gangster until the God blessings start raining down.

 

Make absolute sure you kill Minotaur first
Dash 24/7
Get a dash deflect boon

 

I have been getting terrible Deflect boon luck.

 

Yeah the dash doesn't seem to come around too often, I always start with the Altena thing that gets me her boon first and then I have the perk where I can reroll the boons 1 time.

 

Yeah starting with the Athena charm and then swapping to the extra Death Defiance charm when you get to Elysium is the move. Need to get at least one deflection boon to have any chance of completing a run in my opinion.

I completed a run for the second time last night using the spear with the three-pronged attack boon and deflection on my attack. It was great.

 

Beginning to see why everyone loves hades. Just did my 8th or so run and got to the first boss. Only had 11 health and would have won if I had a bit more. But it's not overly hard (yet) and you feel like you can do better each run.

 

I would like an update on Pokémon Snap

I just started Mario 64 and noticed that there was no "so long gay Bowser" when I threw him during the first battle. Kind of an odd removal since he was actually saying "king Bowser".

 

Yeah it's because it's a port of the updated Japanese-only Shindou version, rather than the US version. Speedrunners are pissed because it fixes some glitches they usually exploit

 

The dragon quest game I was thinking about for so long was dragon quest monsters, it seems like they made one for the 3ds but haven’t made any for the switch yet.

 

I loved the original one for the GBC. The joker games on DS aren't bad either

 

Just got this today and am loving the pseudo nostalgia (I played the NES versions way back when)

 

Weirdest thing just happened with my pro controller

Picked it up for the first time in a week or so and noticed it wouldn't connect, so I used my joycons, and saw the console say my pro controller was dead. Thought that was weird because I was at like 3/4 battery the last time I played.

Just plugged it in, played Galaxy for maybe 15-20 minutes, unplugged it, and it's back up to 3/4 charged. Anyone run into this before? Isn't this thing supposed to have some ridiculously slow charge times? This is the first time I've really plugged it in other than when I first bought it

 

The Outer Worlds on Switch is finally getting a performance patch this month it looks like.

i like playing with Artemis boons a lot but I’ll try Athena too.

need to get more finished runs

 

for me the most imporant boon is Dionysus' cast (trippy fog?), it's the key to all my successful runs.

and armor piercing special so I can yeet the hydra out of existence in no time.
