Thanks. I hope they don't screw everybody. It seems like that thread is more for those trying to go pick one up. I had mine set to ship to me.

From my experience (which is from maybe 5+ years ago and for a game not a console), they'll let you go into the store and pay off your remaining balance before midnight (so it doesn't matter if you didn't yet), give you a receipt and wait in line while they quickly hand off your preordered items as they go through the line once 12AM hits.

edit: I totally missed this last page where this was more or less stated already, hah

 

I went to the midnight release of Mass Effect 3 but must have missed the call to go in early to pay for it first and the guy at the register seemed so annoyed with me

 

I really have no time for more video games in my life but you guys are making me want to buy a Switch.

also what. if you plug in the Switch to a Macbook, the Switch charges the MBP. Definitely trying this out later.

Nothing yet, I have all of my MyUPS alerts turned on though. Getting worried, but browsing reddit, it seems no ones heard from GS yet regarding console preorders. Just games and accessories.

 

My wife put the preorder in her name but she works at 6am tomorrow so she doesn't want to get it at midnight.

I was supposed to have a meeting with my boss today and be off tomorrow but he rescheduled it for tomorrow. Why does the world hate me?? Lol

Officially done with lunch and still no update, need someone to hold me and tell me everything will be okay rn.

 

It's 6pm here and Amazon is still saying "will dispatch 2nd March". I think they've taken the money though.

I called and they said that it is being prepared and will ship today. I don't think I'll get it tomorrow which sucks. Unless they are covering next day shipping.

 

got about 2 hrs left at work. going to go home and play horizon until about 6 then I'm going to see Logan.

them I'm going to a midnight release with a friend so I can watch him play for a little while. that's when the real suffering begins.

really wish i would have done what my friend is doing.

 

Yeah, I wish I pre-ordered one for midnight pick up back in January. Tomorrow's going to be brutal. If I don't get it tomorrow Amazon will be getting a very upset email.

 

I went back and forth on pre-ordering the day they went up. I went for a walk during my lunch break and walked past a Gamestop with a sign saying that 100 are available to pre-order. I made that hard right turn into the store and I'm glad I did. it's been a fun ride, cannot wait for 5pm tomorrow.

 

In a little over 13 hours I'll be playing the new Zelda game I'm gonna cry

 

I just got my Target shipping confirmation, and it says it will be here tomorrow. So they may have covered it.

 

It's been a (breath of the) wild ride, weird to think it's almost finally here.
