Only a couple hours into Hades but my god it is fucking outstanding.

 

Damn I wish consoles were still $90. Also that 7-Up game ruled. I played that a lot on Sega for some reason.

I bought Hades earlier today and haven’t put it down.

Not fixing the camera in 64 is such a poor decision. It feels like fighting with the game.

 

It was the best decision. I wanted to play the OG, not some new crap.

 

No, the option to change it would be the best decision. If someone really believes they would rather have the old camera over a modern camera controlled by the right stick, they could have chosen that.

 

Hades is amazing

 

Well clearly Nintendo thought this was better and I always trust their judgement

 

When you look at old prices you have to consider what that money would have been worth in today’s context

 

I think there is value in staying true to the original art and vision, especially if the games in question are true classics. People aren’t updating Rembrandt’s either. That’s not to say that remakes can’t be good, but I don’t think they should be the default.
