I’m so excited for Hades that I’m thinking about cancelling my Mario preorder and just getting it in a month or so. Shrug.

I didn't even know there was an Amazon fulfillment center in my state, but looks like there is one only an hour away from me, so I'm guessing it makes sense it hasn't shipped yet?

Yeah mine hasn’t shipped yet either. I live less then an hour from two actually. Usually they have their own delivery drivers drop stuff off in my area and not USPS so makes sense it doesn’t ship until the day of.

 

Hades is so fucking gooooooood!!!!! The progression and unlocks are just staggeringly immense and everything is so polished. The controls are tight as hell too and ahhh I’m gonna be obsessed.

 

the fulfillment center is 20 minutes away so yeah it doesn’t need to ship for me

Just got my shipping notification for the Mario collection from Amazon! Woohoo! Tomorrow’s going to be a great day.

I got super let down at first though lmao, apparently a shipment of cat food I ordered is coming in a few days early with my game, so when I read the notification and just saw "Meow Mix", my heart sunk a little

Does anyone else find the D-Pad on the pro controller annoying at times?

I've been playing Super Mario 3 on the SNES emulator lately, and it's way too easy to accidentally lean the bottom or top arrow slightly to the corner and then hit left or right by mistake. It's like a more limited joy stick. Super annoying in dungeons when you're trying to quickly jump with the up-arrow to go up a warp pipe

 

I never ever ever use the D-pad on the pro controller but I also have a couple 8bitdo controllers with solid D-pads.

 

Good to know about the 8bitdo! Yeah, it's really annoying. Just did a light Google search and I don't seem to be the only person with the complaint. What a bummer for a $70 controller haha

If the SNES emulator didn't have a rewind function I would be losing my mind rn :-D

 

Yeah man I have a 8bitdo SN30pro which has a similar feel to the pro controller and is EXCELLENT.

I abused the shit out of that feature playing SMB 2. I forgot how hard that game was.

I also have that 8bitdo controller, and the d-pad is super nice for platformers.

 

Haha yeah I've been abusing it too . It's so useful though if you just want to keep practicing one hard part over and over before doing a speed run. Just wish it also had a fast forward option

 

Couple hours into Luigi’s Mansion and I’m loving the shit out of it. Searching for secrets is so much fun.

 

God damn. Those are gas station prices. I do remember when a lot of the SNES games were $69.99 at Toys R Us. But $80 bucks? Nah
