Only played a few minutes of 64 and played quite a bit of Galaxy. Never played sunshine so I’m going there first

 

Is it an unpopular opinion to think that the 3D Mario games, while super inventive, are nowhere near as good as the classic side scrolling 2D Mario?

 

LM3 is very very good so far

I never played Dark Moon, but I remember loving the first one back in the day. Been wanting to play this one since its release, and it’s most definitely living up to my expectations so far. So much fun.

I’m starting with Mario 64 I haven’t played it since it first came out, but even then I was playing Shadows Of The Empire more. Never played Sunshine or Galaxy so I’m really looking forward to those as well. I can’t wait for Friday.

 

Thinking I might play all 3 at the same time, switching games every 5 stars/shines.

This is the nerdiest thing I've ever read on here and I'm having trouble understanding the significance of what this is about.

 

They just announced DKC 2 is coming to SNES online this month.

 

Has there been any info released about extras the games will have? I think I saw like soundtrack listings. Any QoL improvements? Idk what kind of QoL improvements there could be but still curious.

I forgot about RE4 and Twilight Princess. I like those 2 more than Luigi’s Mansion 1

 

I personally think Luigi's Mansion is one of their weakest franchises.

 

Anyone else complete Super Mario World on SNES online? I'm stuck at 95 but it's supposed to be 96 with a star next to it. I'm pretty sure I got every secret exit and I beat the game front door and back door although it doesn't save after that. Maybe that's why? I really wanted to see that star. :(

 

Did you beat the special world? Those 8 hard AF levels. Then when the game restarts the koopas are wearing Mario masks or something bizarre like that.
