I’m just glad I can play Galaxy without motion controls. I’m going to be playing every game docked with a pro controller.

 

Sunshine was the first game to feature Bowser Jr if I'm not mistaken. I can't remember if actual Bowser is in the game or not. Man, it's been so long. Really looking forward to this.

 

Stoked for the Mario games - never finished 64, never got deep into sunshine and never played galaxy. Just preordered.
And i finally picked up switcher now that it’s on sale again. I’ve been debating for almost a year and just got around to pulling the trigger.

idk the only game I would've (re-) played would've been Galaxy 2 because I only like the Marios that have Yoshi in them lol

Has anyone tried Mario Battle Royale yet?

 

The new Mario games make me want to finally buy a pro controller, but I can't believe they're more expensive than a PS4 or Xbox One controller when they at least have analog sticks >_>

 

@RyanPm40 if you have a walmart near you they are 59 dollars, and I could even justify paying more for it than a PS4 or XBone controller because it is a fuck ton better than them. I know we say it here all the time but it's the best damn gamepad to ever be released.

No, though why would Mario 64 and Galaxy support those anyway

 

I actually think the reason why Sunshine won't support the GCN controller is precisely because they had to make a changes to how the game works given that the Switch doesn't have the analog triggers that the GCN controller had. Including both versions was probably too much of a headache.

I too have nostalgia for the GCN but in reality the controllers now are better than the GCN controller was, aside from the lack of analog triggers

 

I also just don't have a pro controller lol, I just use that thing that came with the Switch where you slide the two joycons on the side to make one big controller

 

I actually prefer the joy con, especially without that little thing, just letting my hands be wherever

 

Yeah I've been doing joy cons lately since Nintendo sent me new ones and idk why I don't do it more. Was using it for Odyssey and loved it.

 

I’ve been using the pro controller a lot because my new joy cons started to drift over the summer.
