Let's be honest. Have Nintendo's business practices ever made sense? As an idiot who bought a WiiU, I can confirm that this is pretty standard for them.

 

I bought a refurbished WiiU last year and the game pad completely quit working. Luckily I bought the extended warranty so they’re going to switch out the console for me, but that’ll be when they get another one in stock.

 

Nintendo has been a very successful company for over 100 years, with very few, short down periods, so yeah, their decisions make sense

 

I'd love a Direct to give us something to look forward to as far as big titles coming this holiday season, but it probably won't happen any time soon.

 

I'm pretty content. With Carrion, CrossCode, Panzer Paladin and then Banner of The Maid coming in a few weeks I don't mind waiting for stuff to be announced.

 

I heard Carrion is meh

 

I feel like the vast majority of Nintendo users don't pay attention to huge game announcements or directs, so yeah, I don't think Nintendo is putting itself in a bad spot at all

 

ugh now i want to replay an SMT game. the only problem is i don’t know which one lol

probably either SMT4 or Strange Journey

 

Are any of them available on the switch/PS4?

I remember when X Play reviewed one back in the day, and I thought it looked so interesting

 

unfortunatey no. most of them are playable on 3DS though, and often goes on sale for as low as 10 bucks. Devil Survivor 1 is my personal rec as a starting point. I replayed it last year and wasted like a good 60 hours on it lol.

but Tokyo Mirage is on Switch if you haven’t played that.

for real, it’s so good. i bought Redux earlier this year but haven’t really played a lot of it. I heard they added a bunch of cool stuff though. Seeing the Demonica suit in SMT4 is one of my fav gaming moments lol

 

I should probably watch this as I've never played an SMT game

Tokyo Mirage Sessions is a SMT spin-off and it is pretty great

 

Damn ok. TMS has been on my radar, but didn’t know it was SMT related. Now my interest in it increased.

The source behind this has been right about a previous Direct and about Apex Legends.

 

As is Persona in case you did not know. TMS is kind of somewhere in between.
