Black Ops II was, and had (maybe even still has?) a surprisingly consistent user base due to being the only true AAA FPS on the system, haha. Couldn't be less interested myself. BOII never got any of the DLC on Wii U either iirc.

 

I would be surprised if any major FPS franchises went to the Switch. I don't really mind - I play a lot of FPSes but I'm not going to get those for the Switch anyway when the PS4 would have a much bigger player base.

Activision'll make Call Of Duty for it if it blows up like the Wii, only to once again find out that they're trying to sell to a market that largely does not care.

realized the Switch may SAVE me money. I drop my laundry off now because I hate laundromats... but with the Switch I'll gladly go hang out and play Zelda.

 

I thought Retro City Rampage was pretty cool (especially how the much the dev has packed into the game). Excited to see how the next one pans out.

 

Local multiplayer was cool in black ops 2 on Wii U. One guy on the tv, one on the gamepad. I think You could go online with that same setup as well.

 

of course my midterms get scheduled for the week right after zelda

Is there any word out there on units shipping? I still haven't been charged from Amazon, but still says arriving Friday.

My card was charged from GameStop and I paid the extra $15 for launch day delivery. No word on shipment yet though.

Pretty sure Amazon has actual teleportation devices so I'm not actually too worried.

 

It might ship thursday depending on how close to you they have a distribution center

 

Really wish that I had been able to preorder in-store. Just the thought that I'll have to wait until I get home from work on Friday, when I could have had it at midnight on Thursday, is excruciating.
