I do plan on getting XC, maybe not Day One though.

 

Lost sphear is pretty mediocre. Go with Octopath it's easily the best out of those.

 

I would echo Moose and say to get Xenoblade on day one instead of getting any of those three.

But if you’re dead set on one of those, do FFVIII if you’ve never played it.

For JRPG fans who have never played FF8, the remaster is kind of a must-play I think. It was just done so well.

 

I like some pretty mediocre jrpgs and even I didn't like lost sphear lol

 

I have every intention of playing FF8 remaster which means I probdbly never will

 

i wanna say this is me, but who am i kidding. i'll never stop playing AC

 

I beat Odyssey last week. That was fun! Now I need to get the rest of those dumb moons.

 

I'll always rec Octopath, it's become one of my faves. Have you played the new Fire Emblem?

I ended up getting Octopath. Only reason I won't get XC on day one is because I am about 50% through XC2 and want to finish that first. FFVIII is a must shortly after but I played the Prologue Demo for Octopath and loved how it looked.

 

Probably just gonna open up XC2 finally, and try and beat that before XC Definitve.

 

so i ran into some drift finally. got the electronic contact cleaner, applied a reasonable amount, and the issue went away.

but now the home button on it died! has this happened to anyone else? i can't find anyone on reddit etc with a similar incident. wondering if it is actually causation or just coincidence.

luckily one of my best buddies owns a game store and hooked me up with a replacement right joycon for 30 bucks

Am I basically at the end of Pokemon Sword if I (spoilers for a Pokemon game I guess? lol) beat Hop in the semifinals and am now about to go into Rose's Tower? I know I probably still have to catch the legendary Pokemon and I'm not sure if there's an Elite Four or if I just have to battle the champion
Basically how much more of the game is there? There's no way in hell I'm completing the Pokedex btw lol

 

You have the final few major battles to do, it's pretty close to the end. Then there's a very bizarre post game mission...

It's very very weird.

 

I ought to revisit the post game stuff, I won the championship and haven't been back to it since.

 

im very excited for the expansions. i hope there's a new endless mode like Battle Tower for some cool rewards that maybe plays with formats a little more

 

you basically have one more overlong story thing to go through before you're actually done. you probably have 2-3 more hours if memory serves. the legendary dog is acquired post game

 

Playing What The Golf on my Switch Lite. I never use the thing but god damn it's a nice piece of equipment.
